i think i’ve found a way to automate signal optimisation for my own use using dynamic equations that fit within pinescripts limits, would someone who’s experienced with script or the lux team be able to hint towards the logic use to store useful information for example if strategy.net profit is > higher than my best profit i would like to find a way to store the inputs associated with that new increase, that way i can process the information as i please, thank you in advance

Does anybody know what is the webhook message for signal alerts in tradingview? If I have an open position, the invers signal just cancels the position and does not add a invers position. Thank you in advance.

Hi there, if you are going to automate your trades, you would need to connect your backtester alerts with a 3rd party platform that uses webhooks that can connect to your platform of choice. Unfortunately as these are 3rd parties, and there are quite a few of them out there, you would have to do your due diligence in selecting such.

does anyone how how to find the net profit for a strategy for a variable that is not inputted but instead defined within the code, for example i would like my strategy has an input that automatically decreases the sensitivity by 0.5 but when i try to pull the net profit for that variation of the strategy it only pulls the currently inputted setting, not an issue with my adapting sensitivity change, may need to create a custom equation to calculate the net profit% any insight is appreciated as i’ve tried many variables and still are met with disappointment. i won’t be giving up on this so any feedback is appreciated for aslong as this comment remains

Hi, newbie here. Starting to get back into the daytrading of crypto. Curious if anyone has any recommendations on trading something that only fluxucates 3,4 cents. Im thinking of daytrading DOGE coin. I heard if you trade on 5min intervals you can buy sell but there is not much fluctuation in price. Any recommendations on crypto that fluctuates much? What do others do? Thanks

Hey there, in my opinion, price fluctuates exactly the same on any time frame.
If it move 8 cents on a 5 minute charts, it will still move the same 8 cents on a 4 hour chart...
But not sure if this is what you meant though.

Futures: one point = four ticks
Forex, one pip = ten 1/10th pips
