Alerts will be unaffected by updates. TradingView servers will remember the settings at point of creation. If you change any settings though, your current alerts won't update and you'd need to create other alerts with updated settings.

Example, when you have a bare candle chart, like 1minute candle
During the candle formation, it goes green or red, but until that candle closes at 1minute, then it stays either green or red.

Its the way trading charts function on all platforms

Indicators, candle, bars, moving averages, elements, signals, or anything on a chart, confirms at candle close.

The proper way analyze the arrow signal is wait for candle close.

FYI - we dont not take the signals blindly, we analyze the signal at candle close.

Sure so my strategy is a little bit of everything that I have backtested for years. But mainly i try to stay with trend on the 4 hour chart and then look for a 1 hour scalp/swing to take. I've been watching this potential "bubble" on ES and NQ and then saw a 4 hour change of charcter break out. This normall leads to a retest in which MM come down and fill orders on retail stops so I then waited for a 1 hour signal. When the 1 hour signal came in i entered heavy for a NQ scalp and then took profits leaving behind a runner.

I will leave the runner on untill stopped out at break even or hitting the bearish order block below. which happens to also me my projected bubble bottom.

There i will exit entirely and look for a Lux ALgo signal to go long. to the bubble neckline up top

Anyways that's how i use Lux Algo in these mini swings between my day job. Back to work for me!

I use the screener in a quick glance of the higher term time frames without havig to go thru all of the charts and memorize the overall rating of each.

It depends on your individual risk appetite, the underlining or methodology of your trade, and your backtesting.

For example I step away from my pc a lot to put out work fires so I primarily use butterflies and verticals spreads since they are more forgiving than being naked.

It happens. I once lost 27k in a brokerage account. My own money that I had saved. Never again. My advice to anyone that's new and excited about funding their own account, be very careful! I would even say don't do it. Give it to a professional from Goldman or Wells Fargo & let them diversify it for you. Over time you will be happy you did it this way. The markets are very corrupt and manipulated & designed to take advantage of people that are not "one of them".

I read the prop firms have a 90% fail rate & the ones that do pass end up blowing their funded accounts. Only 10% get payouts on somewhat of a consistent basis so have a logical monthly budget and stick to it.

Couple things to point out. I’m literally looking at your picture and I see 2 wins and 3 smaller losses. Not sure what time frame you are looking at or how you are taking the trades but there are countless execution variables. You can also adjust the signal sensitivity (candle length) to the underlining to back test for better results. And finally today was a rather tight choppy day I would bet money most indicators were full of false positives today. Increasing time frames also helps a ton with false signals

If you tweak the settings and backtest, and use it to confirm other signals/price action etc you will prob come away with less false positives. I did

I have tres takes on this. A) I only take risk defined trades (verticals and butterflies) I’m not exposed to a market crash. 2) I follow my signals (entry criteria and exit criteria based solely on the the charts nothing else. Tres) I see news about the market, crash , and even networks comparing it to 1987 and that noise normally is meant to scare retail out of the next move (whenever that is)

Not saying a flash crash can’t happen, just saying I’ve seen this sooooo many times play out like this. Oh no market crash.. huge gap up oh no it’s too expensive to buy here. lol

Yes I was actually getting fairly good at scalping when I was remote 100% but had to switch companies and now I’m only remote partially

When I went back into the office scalping was killing me because I would miss entries, exits, or important details

I went from making $1k a day at home to losing $2k a day in the office

So had to switch it up to a short term swing with spreads to give me some cushion if I get stuck in meetings etc and this has been working well

You would need to recreate your settings, as this is how TradingView functions.
Rumor has it, their new update may have improved this, not sure as I will always manually update my settings.
