(You know what I wish) I wish there was a way to separate order box by percentage. Say like on this picture right here. I have one 1% 2% 3% 4% and 5% and so on say I do not want to see the order blocks at 1%’s I only wanna see 2% and above, my chart fill up with order blocks sometimes and I don’t get to see the significant ones And it’s also a lot of clutter.

Hell, I might only wanna see the 3% and that’s it.

But consider this a request a new feature to add.

On higher time frames, though it’s not that big of a deal it’s the one that I’m trying to trade-off that gets cluttered up with order blocks because I’m trying to max them out you know.

The percentages are divided into each OB that you have "show last" in the settings.
Total percentage of all the OB's that you will "show" is 100%
So you can set a lower number of OB's shown, and thereby eliminating lower % OB's such 1-3%

You are showing a higher amount of OB's so you will get many OB's in the single digits %'s
Try to lower the OB's shown.

The Smart Trail functions as a trailing stop that adapts based on unwanted price variations in a trend.

Neo Cloud
The Neo Cloud is akin to the Ichimoku Cloud, designed to determine the current trend direction.
It features a cloud filled with a gradient color that indicates the newness of a detected trend; brighter colors represent older trends.
The cloud provides support in an uptrend or resistance in a downtrend, aiding in precise trade entries.

Price Action Concepts

• "Liquidity TrendLines."
  The concept is similar to traditional TrendLines, BUT....

• Meaning these are not your traditional TrendLines, but TrendLines that attempt to mark areas of liquidity left behind.

I will as soon as I can. Regarding topstep what do you think.? I read they are reviewed as top 5 or so propfirm…. Their rules about max stop loss or max daily stop loss are quite strict but overall what’s your opinion? I believe I will start careful and build up a safe area before getting more aggressive

I plan to do TopStep myself sometime soon. Considering that they are based in the US, plus are focused on Futures trading, and aren't in the CFTC red list considering how (relatively) long they have been operating, make them a good bet in my opinion. I am certain you have done your due diligence too in any case.

At the end of the day it is all about the investment (time and money) and the potential realistic returns that will be the basis for my decision as well.

Basically I wait for High probability FVG to get retested . Stop loss under the FVG and take profit at last swing (the one retraced to the FVG)…. Is usually a 1:2 or more. So my trades on 1 min basically least 1 min or 2

If FVG to get retested is against the trend is more risky but usually some ticks of reactions u get even there

Here is the thing, not all set-ups end up a winner.
Eventually the trend will change.
But, in your 15m example, your loss is relative.
Because after the entry, it did go into profit in your direction.
They key again, is when to exit for small win or small loss.

I am also not familar with this symbol.

Sometimes we cant overthink this and dwell on one past trade.
There will be winners and losers.
Your wins must be bigger than your losers.
Trade management is more important.
So we just need to move on and keep being consistent with our strategy.
Rinse and repeat.

hoping someone can assist me with alerts on tradingview for lux algo strategy. I have trend catcher and neo cloud set and trying to have alert when both are in uptrend. I have alert set to once per block close (15m) but every 15 mins getting alert because it is triggering every candle close. is there a better way to this? I am not sure If Only once would work.

For example if both are uptrend then trend catcher turns red but neo remains blue and after while trend catcher turns green again would this trigger a new alert or because the alert triggered once it wont trigger again?

If you use only once, then once the alert is triggered it will no longer give an alert. What you can do instead is to set 2 alerts, one for each Switch up + Uptrending combination so that you can get alerted for each time the combination happens the first time. See pic for the example of 1 of the 2 alerts.

Hi @old crow Ive been testing your FVG MSS strtategy. FVG followed by MSS then take trade in the prem or disc zone. Any thoughts or testing you may have done on stacked FVGs to take a trade in the absence of a MSS? Some charts if you wait for MSS go into the opposite zone ie prem to disc or vice versa.

I know what you are referring to. Yes sometimes FVGs occur near the peak pivot of a structure, and the structure change occurs much later depending on how the structure began. But yes I thought about it, and yes you could take the early entry. But haven’t tested this out yet

@old crow hello Micky i think you are the only guy that can help with this idea !!! 🙂 i am setting up an alert for the FVG alert on the PAC indicator, i amd using two PAC on for the dection of CHOCH(bull) on Discount and other for the CHOCH(bear) on Premium and when i do that i have the color square on the bottom with the blue and gray squares but on the PAC its not possible to change our disable the color of the gray scares like when can on the signal overlays..... can you try to ask that to dev team that way we can make an amazing indicator with visuals to see the change of trend ? 🙂 !!!!!!!!

I have been using Oanda for over 2 years now. Not constantly.. on and off.. it took about a week to approve my account . So that's ok... And so far I have had multiple deposits and withdrawals "payouts" with absolutely no problem. Website may seem a little rustic and getting your transaction transcripts it's a bit messy .. but I'd say it's a rather safe and reliable broker

do you know if its possible to scale out of a position without having to cancel or lose your TP or SL? lets say you have 5 futures and want to sell 1, if you modify it then it will close out the TP and SL, and then you can make seperate limit sell orders at different TP levels but it does get rid of the SL...

Does anyone using the scanner know if its possible to have a dynamic scanner? So that if I am on a current stock or future I want it to display the 1 ,5 ,15 and 1 hour data but if I change to a different stock it will change the corresponding scanner data to that stock?

CME I think works closes to OANDA prices in most cases for feeds. You could always set alerts below/above to catch the level you want.

We have 2 weeks to get comfy with the platform

I've never traded on CME personally, so it's all new to me too.

It's only a 5 day challenge, so tune in on those day/scalp strats.

I have some long term harmonic patterns on this one.

Harmonics and commodities play well together.

Gann cycle analysis and all that.

Corn/Wheat/Oil often tend to trend inversely to index in cycles as well. This is long term W/M only

Inflation seems to be driving as well. and Unemployment is ticking up slow. Could be something. We need a couple more delayed months data

It depends what type of trader you are and how long you'd be wanting to hold possible trades for, as to which timeframe you'd pick.
Lower timeframes tend to fit scalpers/intra-day traders, whereas higher timeframes could suit swing traders better. Its just finding what suits you and your trading style.
Also could depend on the ticker traded too and how volatile it is. As some crypto tickers (price action) moves more than others.

No, in theory, there will be no FVG's displayed on a HA chart and each HA is an average and will always overlap each other.
HA are not real candlesticks.

yes, create each alert on each TF

create the first alert, then save the alert in the alert-panel.
then go back to settings and create the next same alert on a new chart TF, and then save again in alert-panel.

so on and so forth

Depends on many factors that are unique to you.
Are you not using a leverage from a broker? Your $100 profit calculations are based on non leveraged spot asset, similar to stocks. Then maybe this should be traded as stocks? If the fee is $63.50 from "your" broker, is to high in your opinion, then change brokers? if this fee is flat fee regardless of the amount of shares, then trade more shares? What about instead of scalping for smaller targets, increase your take profit? Instead of crypto, trade other assets? so many factors that go into trading this as a business. Create a plan, create a trading plan, create a business plan. Just an opinion to help you put here.
