With crypto (I only trade BTC), I am very wary that anything can happen anytime, like the occasional black swan event that wipes out all accounts with more than 2x leverage (if no stops are used). It gets easily manipulated as there's no fundamentals to back things up. So yes: sessions opening and closing times. And no: all times, even in weekends. Add to that tweets from Elon ...

I use stops, and very little leverage. Neither would I trade anything under the 4h. PAC strat is also good, since we can more or less see where orders are waiting ... and brokers love them.

so thinking out of the box (like your fib levels) is a good approach. Mainstream gets you killed.

Yeah, I when I asked about SPY earlier.... I was in a call I found on the 4h. Hyperwave, SO, PAC all pointed downward. Got in on a cheap call and when it went up. I held on and then the basterd broke down toward the end of day. Was able to get a good 7 percent out of it.

Not sure. But I will say this as I mentioned in my streams. The real focus is not being right or wrong our overall bias direction. The key is to know and when our SL is. Since we enter, we have accepted the risk and the bigger win.

But in your pic, do we have any other confluence that falls within or near your golden entry pocket?

Most of the times, there will be an OB at the 100% fib level.
So if your entry area is around the 100% level, then that is your confluence.
FOr me, my entry area is around the 70-80% level

Also, you dont have to take this set-up, instead, you watch a few tickers, and you pick the best of the best in front of you.

I try to focus these live streams on going over the various settings within the premium toolkit’s, and how anyone can make some adjustments to optimize to their own style. So I've asked few times pretty much everywhere in the discord. Trying to figure out auto trading. I have trade worker working that's a trading bot. It's trading strategy from others posted but can create your own. Wondering if I can use that 3rd party app to run stats posted here

this is possible, however please be advised that LuxAlgo does not provide direct support for automation, as this is facilitated through third-party software, and the process varies depending on the program being used. The toolkits can facilitate such automation; however, beyond adjusting settings on the indicators provided by LuxAlgo, we would not be able to provide further advice. trade like you'd normally trade, you either win or get rekt. REGARDLESS, wait until tomorrow and look at today's trades. what do you notice?

or open yesterday's trade history and plot them on your chart now. scroll back and look at your entries/exits, why did you enter there and why did you exit there? would you do the same trade again today?(now you know how the trade ended, don't lie to yourself, use bar replay if that's helpful)

I just want to clarify something here. My broker says they will not allow scalping on their platform. If I open 3 or 4 trades a day (sometimes simultaneously) and I have them open for 10+ minutes, is that still considered scalping?

I believe this is true. Their playing a game all time & the more you play, your bound to get trapped & give back a bunch of profits or end up in the red. I started the day on the 5 minute & found that I missed what the bigger time-frame was doing. I then switched to the bigger time-frame (in this case the 4H) & saw things alot clearer. Any suggestions on how to improve in this area?

Try to create a mechanical strategy, that you can scale up.
Meaning, create some rules for entry, TP, and SL, for each and every trade.
Each set-up entry MUST be exactly like all the other trades. Then, if this is consistent and profitable, then you can scale up from there.
I have found that this works best for me, less stress, less trades, and more time to troll here...

Remember, fib is not the primary entry rule, it just helps me distinguish the premium/discount zones within the PAC structure I am focusing on.

the OB's are not an external value, so you can't use them inside S&O(no need to upgrade your tradingview yet)

i’m a bit confused i’m using my S&O for the Smart trail and Signal classifier and have to have that on my chart due to having custom alerts on it all i’m looking for is to have the price action due to the orderblock rarely overlapping the indicator toconfirm a strong movement, if i couldn’t use the orderblocks id be happy to have BOS and ChoCh mainly because the ChoCh + gives a strong confluence when aligning with a different indicator of mine

• you can't add elements from the PAC unfortunately, the only available elements are in picture 1

PAC:

• you can't add the signal classifier unfortunately, but you can add the candle color switch (if that helps)
• in regards with the smart trail, you can add the switch event.

By adding means creating a custom alert that combines elements from PAC and S&O - i hope this makes sense.

They use pre-market change % and post-market change % for gap % so I don’t know what the actual gap % is used for on TV 😂

I wouldn't have it any other way.

The indicator show a smaller timeframe market structure, within the current candlestick of your higher timeframe chart

Basically using the intrabar data will give a more accurate result as it would use information from the selected intrabar candle instead of the current chart. Without intrabar TV will only use the data from the open high low and close of the candles, but with intrabar you can also get the data from the open/close of the lower TF candles you select. When dealing with volume data, this can only help.

So if his TV plan can handle it then good - but the lower the intrabar timeframe as compared to the chart then the worse the indicator will perform, and he may encounter those study errors depending on his TV plan

It has been removed several version ago, due to code conflicts with TV updates.
But there is something better that LuxAlgo developed recently, which are the new Screeners

You really dont need the docs.
Visually study it.
Some elements are longer lengths, to show smoother trends, some elements are coded on shorter lengths to be more reactive to price action.
