SOO, are these repainting signals? I have come up with a little strategy that seems to work when manually back testing. This includes only taking entries on the Up or Down arrows but only the + versions. I realised recently that the signals are are changing between + and Normal. Even 25 mins after it originally prints.... Does anyone have any suggestions or is this correct? It is really disappointing if this is the case, as you are second guessing every entry.

Thanks for the reply, i definitely saw this candle go from a standard up arrow, which i would not have normally entered, to an up+ arrow, when i entered, then it changed back. This was on 5min timeframe and it changed back a few candles later

I had it on optimal sensitivity of 15 as per the dashboard, it just suggested to lower it to 10, and now the singal has gone back to a arrow+ again?

Please be advised that the buy and sell signals are not meant as a stand alone signal. More to be used a s a confluence and confirmation of a trade that you are willing to take. Must have confluence. Use the matrix and PA. And use the S+O as confluence. 😉

Yep agreed, i was testing a scalping strategy the past couple of days on NQ, and it was working amazingly when only taking the Arrow+ during Asia/start of London. It showed really great results during my backtest. Was hoping it works on live markets.

It’s always best to test during live trading on paper. Backtesting is ok but not very accurate as markets are always changing.

Backtesting to me, is like having a new lottery ticket that has winning numbers from the last drawing. IMO. Must use live data. 😂😂😂

here is the thing with the optimal sensitivity, these signals are based on historical price action.
So when a signal is plotted and confirmed, it is confirmed at that point in time, based on the historical data, at that time. So later in time in into the future, the optimal settings are recalculating based on the latest historical data, for the next signal to be confirmed and printed, thereby changing the past signals. So when using these past signals on backtest, we need to be aware of how the algo functions in real time moving forward. Historical signals would have to be updated with the new sensitivity for the next signal to be confirmed and printed. Hope this makes sense on how the optimal sensitivity functions in real time.

I think i understand, i've used some other indicators that did something similar to this. It showed very optimal entries during backtesting. But forward testing was very different. The signals kept changing as price moved on in realtime. I called it repainting. But could be my misunderstanding . I'm ultimately looking for those Arrow+ entries, is there a way to filter out standard arrows?

Well, I guess that’s food for thought you would have to create a grading system anyways what would you look for reliability flexibility, under different circumstances amongst other things maybe you could give prizes out for those who had a high score of course after they get pretty old. And there’s a positive way to look at it. 🏆🎖️🏅🎁

Thanks for the suggestion, but members are posting their personal strategy that fits their style, so having a grading system will be very challenging and impossible and unfairly placed on their posted strategy, as every member is very different in their style, thus reflected onto the posted strategy that there are freely posting to help one another…

Found when able to find a Squeeze Pro version for Trading View like one of my older Discord advisors. Friday's candle pushed into a possible CHoCH. I like another break to the upside further to push into $167.08. Firstly, on the 4h, level. Buyers appeared to be coming in the last two days, and a slow building upward trend from 2-3 weeks prior. If a pullback happens. I want to at least re-test this 157.88 (Around Thursday High, and Prior Week High) level and if any drop with buying comes into play I will enter the trade. I like to see the play get to about the 167.23 level and then If it can break that, will easily push to 169-170. That would be my limit on that call holding for a few days. Will be watching closely on the hour to see if any selling or buying is about to take place.

I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I've been using LuxAlgo for over a month and I can't seem to get a strategy with the indicators to work consistantly for me. I've been looking at the various ones in the user-strategies room, but those are way overwelming and can be hard to sift through. I want to scalp (5-15 min timeframe) indices such as NAS100 and SP500. Is there anyone here that can point me to a post in the user-strategies that uses LuxAlgo indicators consitantly to do that? Strong/Weak, High/Lows

Remember, these two anchor levels (H and L, premium and discount) are from the most recent swing points, so the metrics at these levels are from that structure, but of course price can still bust up or down.

But the further it busts up, we know sooner than later, this will come back down.

So these metrics gives us a clue on how much further it can go. Its like how long do we want to hang onto the move, or do we really want to jump in now?, at the risk that the move could be over anytime soon

I've really been digging the scalper preset, using the TP/SL set at default 5. Small scalps but seems pretty good. Does anyone know how the TP/SL points are calculated, well not calculated, but is it an ATR? I have tried to use an ATR stop loss finder in the past, but it looks super messy on the screen and they alawys seem too tight. This is much better, but i notice it does vary its TP/SL points, and usually they're magnates for price. Curious about what it is.

It uses ATR with a period of 200 bars. The ATR multiplier used is the length you see in Settings. Half of that is for TP1/SL1, and the whole of it is for TP2/SL2.

For timeframes and settings, we just have to experiment and optimize for our own style.

Thank you. Monday's pm session is always a struggle. When they put that algo on me it's relentless. Even if I reverse the trade the algo does as well. It's rigged. They keep an eye on me because they know that if I take I big lead, they will struggle to get it back. As soon as I enter if I am on the right side of the trade, then, they will hold the orders and offer me out slowly, then make me wait, then offer me out a little more, then make me wait. When I trade paper account it goes so much smoother (because there not watching). And yes, they do have enough personel to keep track of every retail customer. Retail only accounts for 20% of the volume, the rest is institutional. How do they make money? There's only one way. I apologize, they make it several ways, that's one of them. They also make it with their ponzi scheme & all of their managed accounts.

Yea, there is all kinds of rules for these firms. Apex is 10 days. Topstep is 5 consecutive winning days of at least $200.

What kept screwing me up was two things.
1.) I became so used to how I was able to work price action in SMC, that it doesn't fully correlate over to me in PAC.
2.) What beat it was, turning off candle coloring in S&O and Turned on in PAC. I Also use the Liquidity Sweeps/Swings as extra confluence and it draws me level lines so my fibs don't make it look like we kiled a unicorn.

And knowing now how to look at the hyper wave from the strategies page. Everything came together nicely when eyeballing.

I also have this trade setup. I like this swing low for the fib bracket. It's not as low as the premium/discount level, I don't know why but I like it. I think oil is bullish.

hey, if there was a level not in your golden pocket, but does make sense, then yes, go for it.
BUTTTTT, you will have a different SL, maybe set it on the opposite side of that level

But here is the thing, something to think about.
Can this be replicated on EVERY entry?
Can it be scaled?
My personal fib pocket entry is replicated and scalable.
If price doesnt pull back to my fib level, then i pass on the trade.
I have a fib bracketing the market structure I am focusing on.
I have a defined S and TF and Entry golden zone, on EACH and EVERY entry I have.
So this is backtest'able, replicable, and scalable.

If "I" have different entry techniques and some are different than others, then this cannot be scalable, and cant be replicated moving forward. This is just me....

Yes, I understand. You have to be comfortable with the stop & let the trade play out. This is the trade with the fib on. If I get stopped out I will target the golden pocket for the premium discount structure.

Thats it, when I enter the fib structure bracket, I accept the SL. That is why I can set my limit orders for entry, SL, and TP, and walk away. I do not interfere with it. Less stress for me....

When setting the TP, if you get triggered in and a bearish OB appears, is it OK to adjust the TP to that OB?

I view them as a level

Price can do anything when it reaches that level.
I try not to have a bias on levels.

I emphasize the actual PAC market structure as #1

OB's and imbalances can validate my fib entry levels

The entry level & stop loss seem easier to figure than the take profit. Because on the btcusd bearish fib bracket that I posted above, I'd have taken profit on the short because of those wicks.

I use FVG's, and OBs for confirmation of my fib entry.
If there is nothing around my entry area, then I may hold back and no trade.
I need a PAC reason to go in.
No PAC reasoning, then no entry

I will work on it on paper. If I can become proficient, I'll fund a tiny micro account again. I'm canceling the CL trade because I believe it will change market structure & invalidate my entry. I will wait for a break lower, then a bullish market structure to reform in order to apply the fib bracket & observe to see if there will be an OB or FVG to add confluence to the fib bracket.

The key for me is to figure out the over all market structure trend.
If I can be at least 51% accurate on my structure trend bias, then my risk/reward of 1/1.244 will work itself out in the end

This strategy takes patience, its not fancy, but slow and methodical
