The difference between CHoCH and CHoCH+ in LuxAlgo's Price Action Concepts™ toolkits lies in their market position and early signs of market reversal:

CHoCH (Leading Change of Character) occurs without prior signs of a reversal, meaning price does not exhibit a prior failed high or low before the pattern emerges. It is characterized by price breaking a prior swing low in an uptrend or a swing high in a downtrend.

CHoCH+ (Supported Change of Character) is identified by an early sign of market reversal before the pattern emerges, such as a prior failed high in an uptrend or a failed low in a downtrend.

Users can choose to display all or specific types of CHoCH within the toolkits' Market Structure settings section.

@old crow I have been back testing your Neo Cloud indicator (only) on GBPUSD for 2023. Very good results. I do have a question about setting SL and TP; not to sure where to set. For example, use support/resistant or order blocks? I have been using 1:2 RR ratio. Any suggestions would be helpful. I used 4H for direction and 15min to enter trade.

I am using 15 min TF to enter trade, my question is how far back should I go to determine direction. For instance is 12 months better than 6 months? Because some pairings direction is not so obvious.

BTW: I tested GBPUSD 2023 with Neo (1) and Trend Catcher (3) and Catcher seemed to be more sensitive and had more trades.

The odd thing is, this triggers from the TV server side due to various reasons, maybe your internet that times/out slightly that disconnects from the TV server (but un noticeable to our human eyes) or maybe you have multiple TV logons on your other devices that have not been closed out. You may be using TV browser and you have a few other tabs open that are using up band width etc. This rarely happens to me, maybe about 2 times in a month, and all I have to do is refresh my TV. I use TV desktop app.

  • Wanted to repost this after the Community Stream early today.
    I do understand why this is overwhelming, trading that is.
    You are reading alot of members posts that seems to be profitable etc.
    These members seem to know what they are doing with their charts.
    But somehow, you dont feel this way.

  • I want to first say that I truly understand, I really do, as I was in this same chapter of my trading career.
    I was frustrated, and have given up multiple times, over and over, until a "light-bulb" turned on.

  • And I just wanted to give some ideas if your overwhelmed with everything.

  • Find a "Mechanical Concept."

Not a "subjective, interpretive concept," but a Mechanical Concept.
Find a mechanical concept that YOU like, don't force yourself to like something, that you don't believe in.
A Mechanical Concept that has CLEAR rules, no ambiguity.

Example (just example):
When Signals & Overlays prints a buy/short signal, in direction of Neo-Cloud, take entry in same direction or on the re-test of the Neo-Cloud.

That's it, clear-cut rules.
A mechanical-concept.
Now study and test this over and over again.

Once you get the hang of this,
then you start to add a few more confluences, to subjectively filter out some entry's, with YOUR OWN analysis.
