Hey there. These Backtester Systems where developed to assist us in backtesting our current strategies and also assist us in optimizing our strategies. We would manually adjust and optimize each setting within the backtester in order to improve certain data areas of our own focus in the performance results panel. So just depends on which data area we like to improve on, then we adjust and manually change each setting towards that goal. Hope this helps. Each style of trader, has a different data area they focus on. Some view "%-profitable" as the main focus area, over "profit-factor," and vice versa.

Yeah, the best approach for me, is to get my strategy template down, get consistent with it.

it's a 50% chance the price will run without you and never pullback. you can also try to enter at the candle that made the choch/bos but your risk is also bigger. i'd suggest to backtest this using market replay and find your optimal entries

I also want to mention that I have received many many DM's that I have not gotten to yet, here is just one page of the DM's and I still have 3 more pages of them. I will get to them in time, so bear with me. BUT the overall subject matter of these DM's are basically how to be profitable and stop losing all the time, and requesting help, one-on-one coaching, copy-trade, etc etc.

• I want to first say that I truly understand, I really do, as I was in this same chapter of my trading career.
  I was frustrated, and have given up multiple times, over and over, until a "light-bulb" turned on.

• And I just wanted to give some ideas if your overwhelmed with everything.

• Find a "Mechanical Concept."

Not a "subjective, interpretive concept," but a Mechanical Concept.

Find a mechanical concept that YOU like, don't force yourself to like something, that you don't believe in.

A Mechanical Concept that has CLEAR rules, no ambiguity.

Example (just example):
When Signals & Overlays prints a buy/short signal, in direction of Smart-Trail, take entry in same direction on the re-test of the Smart-Trail.

That's it, clear-cut rules.
A mechanical-concept.
Now study and test this over and over again.

Once you get the hang of this,
then you start to add a few more confluences, to subjectively filter out some entry's, with YOUR OWN analysis.
