When you sign for a funded account, depending on your account they are giving you a predefined amount of lots/contracts to trade max per opened trades. You are able to see them before buying one

At least, that is for the firms I traded with, maybe there are different conditions depending on the firms 🙂

Not sure what you trade, but look under members area for the chat room for what you trade (crypto, forex, futures/stocks). Watch the room for your preferred instrument daily. I’m new to trading and have gained some good nuggets of information just lurking and seeing what people talk about during the trading day.

And after you review what Micky posted above, check out the strategies section to get some good ideas and strategies to try out. I’ve learned alot by simply lurking and observing some of the more experienced people around here. The livestreams are gold also

I trade in stocks, options, and a bit of cryptocurrency, but I don't have many choices on Apex(limited crypto pairs). I've been reading up on Lux indicators and watching some guides and how-to videos. I tried five trades recently with the TIA pair, but I lost in all of them. Looks like I still have a lot to learn.

Don’t give up if you have lost 5 trades. Sometimes you will have a string of losses on a good strategy. It happens. There are a ton of features in the LUX tools. Don’t try to use all of them at once. It will just make your chart too complicated and hard to read

Start with one or two things and get good with them, then start adding additional confluences if you need it. I am new and by no means en expert. I’ve been getting good success using the signal and overlays candle coloring, neo cloud, and price action concepts order blocks to identify potential areas for TP or support and resistance.

I use a 15 minute chart and a 5 minute chart. Candle color and neo cloud must match for a potential trade. Then I look at where the 15 minute order blocks are to see where price may go. If there is room I will place a trade. If not I’ll sit out and watch. I also use the 4 hour order blocks to see a higher time frame area of support or resistance

I win some and loose some this way. Winners typically are larger than the losers. My point is keep it simple to start and build on what works for you.

Full disclosure, this wasn’t my invention. @old crow suggested something similar in a recent livestream and it inspired this strat for me. It has worked so far this week but who knows how it will go over a longer time period.

I think I’ve got a solution. Wait for the NY am session. Mark out the London session high or low or both and set a price alert on TV. When alarm goes off, go to chart on 5 min and wait for CHoCH to form and FVG to form. Place limit order slightly above or below FVG depending on what side you’re trading and walk away and let trade place out. 1/2 RR is a good RR.

Less is often more. Follow the live streams out on luxalgo to find combo's that fit your trading timeframes and style. For instance, I have a day job, so scalping inside of a day is not an option for me. I'm looking for multi day swingers. 🙂 And yes, initially, I turned on just about everything and confused myself, but then dialed it back and then I could see the story. Key word, "The Story". The story plays out over several candles. Not the immediate candle we are in. I was scrutinizing the present and not looking at the story. When I could see the story, it made for a higher probability scenario, and then I planned my entry and trailing line in the sand (trade management). It has upped my win rate and that higher consistency was my goal. Now Further refining trade management and risk reward. I was 5 to 1 min. But 1 min is for someone who is well learned in the strategy. Stick to 5 min when getting ready for a trade.

Use 1/2 RR or less. Try and target nearest opposing liquidity.

For those that need an in depth look at BREAKER BLOCKS:

🎯 Anyone overwhelmed with Price Action Concepts PAC, with all the features and metrics?
Confused? Whats the best PAC set-up?

You can trade SMC, market structure & PAC, in so many ways.
There are so many strats with SMC/PAC. It can be overwhelming for sure.
I still am overwhelmed myself.
You don't have to enable all, or most of the PAC features.
Keep it simple, and Concentrate on one SMC/PAC Concept.

Pick a concept that you like, and just concentrate on THAT alone.

• Example, lets concentrate on the OrderBlock/BreakerBlock strategy.
• The 1st chart is 1H GBP/USD with 1H OB/Breaker Blocks only, disabled other PAC features.
• The 2nd & 3rd chart is the same 1H GBP/USD, but this time, with a higher TF of 4H OB/Breaker Blocks.
• Add the Oscillator Matrix for ENTRY and EXIT trade management.
  📌 Maybe this can help a few here on a simple concept

And another thing guys.... Fvg's are the same priciple.. ( For those trading ICT ).... A bullish FVG that is breached turns into a IFVG ( inverted fair value gap) and can be traded same way.. Luke has gone over that in the futures room recently.... ( I saw Luke explaining it ) and it's 100%.... Well... I've already revealed 3 of my secrets to success these past few weeks. LOL I don't and WON'T overwhelm any traders here... Study, study, study.... I'll give more in time to come. There may be somethign to this "close above trend tracer"... note the hints before the close over the red trend tracer (the little +++ in red) This is autopilot short term on 4hr chart. Then use trend tracer as the trailing stop or line in the sand. Something I'm toying with, but seems there is something to it... The backtesting system doesn't have the same visual indications that the normal S&O has. It will not show the overlays or signals, for example.

The backtesting system will not come up with settings automatically, if that's what you are asking. You would have to tweak your settings according to your strategy, check the market circumstances (trending, ranging etc) and then use the resulting data accordingly.

It depends. I have a day job, so I'm looking for trades that take > 1 day. I'm using a 4hr chart, as well as a 38m chart. (Supposedly, larger institutions run on 19 and 38m charts... anyway, it's not the norm, but it does potentially see where folks, aka The Herd, running on a 15m chart and 30m chart committed to. So that intrigues me) The 38m is slow enough that I can check in after meetings to see if any setup I was watching was worth getting into. And then trade management around 1-7 days while I'm in it.

You can use either the Signals Overlays or the Price Action Concepts as the main indicator and the other as the external indicator. Just depends on your sequence of triggers for your alert

And depends how complex your sequence of events are…

But I’m not sure what you’re needing as you can always use PAC to set your choch and bos alerts. And just have your Signals and Overlays indicator on your chart separately for its visuals

does anyone know why i would of got an alert from TV for a new bearish OB formed on the 30min ES. i just set these alerts up today so im trying to figure out whats going on . as you notice from the image an OB that was formed on 11/17 was broke through on 11/20 price revisited that OB 3x today (3 wicks into the block ) the alerts were set up after the 1st 2 wicks so i did not get notice of anything there. on the 3rd wick i got 2 notices 1 of a new OB bearish that formed (although my chart does not tell me that ) the other was of a bearish OB entered they both came at 421p when that long wich candle formed

i use tradestation connected to TV, so i get real time data and dont have to pay TV for data

call IBKR... they are very helpful and will even help you setup charts... The charts get even better from than what you're seeing when you 1st sign up.. Have to download new charts... WARNING : it's not for the faint of heart!!! Milliuons of things you can do on there!!!
