Gotta be honest...super impressed and very thankful Lux keeps the updates/upgrades coming but a mini nightmare updating ALL instances on ALL my charts. Mostly a TV issue but if iPhone can update without having to re-do all my phone settings, not sure why TV can't figure it out. I'll wait until the next major PAC update to change at this point sheesh.

Confused here?
If you update your settings on all your indicator instances, on either iphone/android TV app or TV web/desktop, then when you save it to a template, this will auto migrate to the other (iPhone or TV) by using the saved template.

Doesnt matter what computer TV browser, TV deskptop app, mobile phone TV app, all you need to do is load the saved template on any of these, then all your settings will populate to the charts

Don't think I'm confused but would not be surprised. I was just giving the iPhone update example that I don't have to re-do all my phone settings every time Apple pushes one of their software updates.
With TV however I gotta delete, re-add and then input all my settings as they were previously if not mistaken? Maybe I am. Hoping so? I got Six (6) 2-pane charts each with 2 instances of PAC. That's 24 deletions and re-adds + update settings unless I am completely off my rocker here.

OHHHH, you talking about your actual phone settings.
Well, these are 2 different software products.
But I do understand what you are saying now.
But when there is a TV indicator update, usually the coding has changed, or optimized, thereby making it a new indicator, so theoretically, these settings could not be migrated over, as the software views the old code and the new code, two differnt indicators.

Yeah I thought it through previously and understand the why with coding and all but was more hoping that someone would point out some TV updates for dummies that I had maybe overlooked. I do the OB of course with 6 different instruments and like the split chart so its on my OCD to have it that way but pay the price when update time comes. Anyhoo, thanks for the feedback.

Grey tone OB's are the charting TF's (15m) OB's, the colored OB's are the higher TF's OB's (4H). That is it, I have disabled other features. I do not enable FVG's on my charts. I value and emphasize key OB levels from past to present with overlaps enabled. @wicked tusk Check out the LuxAlgo livestreams, so many ways to skin a cat with Price Action Concepts, just enable the features that can help you visually make a decision, you do't need to enable all of them. I LOVE a clean chart.

Really digging OB's and the PA around them. Doesn't take long to realize that what it really boils down to is just a line on the chart like you showed in a recent live - its all about how you manage the trade after you pull the trigger is really what matters most.

Yes, I'm using all three. I wasn't using the oscillating matrix at first, just watched the tutorial videos last night and am putting it into practice today. It is way better than having to look at multiple screens, I was intimidated trying to figure out all three from nothing, but they are wonderful. Now, I am trying to figure out what numbers correspond for fine-tuning the Lux indicators - for different time intervals

so far... so good on the put... trade management is the solid red dashed line. I got in a few bars after the smart trail flipped (note my entry aim was where it closed below trend tracer, but market had still had to open, after market open I dabbled for a bit for a fill price, got it about mid 5th candle after the smart trail flip).

spy did not behave similarly to TSLA.. so it appears seeing what that next candle does after the dip below trend tracer is important. It didn't commit. (Learning more)

Hang in there. I've upped my consistency a bunch. Initially I turned on too much. Got confused, simplified. I went down to only 1 contract for a high probability trade, 2 tickers (spy,tsla), and focused on high probabilty setup (requires patience to let the trade come to you) and then trade management. Am I an expert, hell no. But I'll take the 5/6 wins so far since joining, which is way better than where I was before.

Once I have it dialed in, I'll ramp up the contracts.

Margin call? Usually they will close out your positions if you do not have enough $ to cover the losses. They might ask you to post more margin to "save" the trade. Not much mess if you just leave it, take the loss, and do better risk management the next time round.

So, I've been playing with the notion of the trend tracer. Using 38m chart. (and a 19m chart to inspect a little deeper). I got the 2 (down) signal, waited, as it chopped sideways and didn't break the trend tracer. when it did, it also broke the purple 4hr block. I theorized it would trace back a touch, and it did, (blue arrow).. and manged to get in about mid of the in candle with a put option. Felt I had enough confuence, and some bearish money flow as well. It ran down to the next order block by end of yesterday... then overnight chopped around. Note, the red horizontal dashed line was my line in the sand, trade management (virtual stop loss)... I kept following the smart trail down. This am, still seemed sideways, that 38m order block was weak at 2%, but the 19m chart was seeing some retraction in the bear money flow... so felt like maybe sideways or might reverse on me... Just didn't like it. Mixed signals it felt like. I had an 830am meeting (which is central market start), so Pre-market I set my Sell limit order to get me out at an options price that would be in the 231 level. Figuring the first hour volatiility may try to reach down before reversing. It hit right away. (Which is ok, I was in the green to the tune of about 45% so far) ... So what now? Stalk the trade til we find a new bottom and get a close above the red trend tracers (+++++). 🙂 Watching spy as well, but spy isn't quite setup for heading down yet.

What are your purple rectangles on your chart OB's?

So the purple (default TV color) is a manually drawn box extending out a 4hr order block ... sometimes the grey zone doesn't go the full distance, but leaves a mid line in place. The drawn box won't disappear if the 4hr OB is mitigated.

On the 38m chart, it gets mitigated, but if you go to 4hr chart, you can hand draw in, and the purple hand drawn shows on 38m chart

@old crow Typically, a time frame of 4 hours and 15 minutes is followed. In the Indian market, trading hours are from 9.15 am to 3.30 pm. Therefore, if we use 4-hour candles, every second candle is not a complete candle as it represents only 135 minutes. Which time frame is optimal? Should we adhere to a daily and 15-minute interval or another option? Your guidance is valued.

I have something for you.... I have been trading just a little while.... use your webhooks to close trades automatically. set alerts to let you evaluate and open a trade.....open at 30 sl and 40 tp..... best of luncl

and use the idea that you should use a time frame appropriate to the pair

this is the key to trading with leverage

finally use a trailing sl to maximise, i would use something automated for that....Take 50% of investment at break even and let the rest ride...

get an economic calendar going you can see important times when you should "NOT" trade....
