HA will not provide the same levels as regular candlesticks, Sometimes the same, sometimes not.
But some traders have successfully used HA with PAC, some have a hard time with it.
Just depends on your style

Correct, HA shows a longer length trend, filters out the noise, but will not provide accurate entries or exits. They have their place in a strategy though....

I personally use Signals & Overlays Smart trail and Price Action Concepts. I don't think you can ever find a 100% success with any indicator but, you can find 60-70% if you stick to a well develop strategy.

Where do I go to ask questions and get answers as a new user? I watched the must watch videos, and read through the core concepts. My issue is trying to figure out entry points and exit points. What do I do if the chart just shows constant break of structure over and over. Where do I exit and enter if the price just keeps going up and breaking the structure over and over.

Which is just a toolkit, and not a entry/exit system.
This P.A.C. will visually help you analyze a particular SMC, and market structure concept that you are following or watching for.

No I don't have one. I watched the must watch videos strategy episode 1 and it was suggesting waiting for a change in character that touched the smart trend line and that would be an entry point, or a change of character that lead to a break of structure that could be a entry point as well. Then it suggested waiting till the price hits a previous zone of interest to take profit. Are there other videos for helping me form a strategy?

Those particular videos show how someone could combine these indicators into a complete strategy.
But first, I think you need to research some of these individual SMC market structure concepts, and maybe take one or a few of these and combine them into a chart to build around it. This is something you really need to research and learn on your own. But the LuxAlgo short form videos do show individual market structure concepts.

Just an idea but I would also personally start by subscribing to Lux YT channel if you haven't already. In addition to the shorts and its a more significant time commitment, but I would go back and watch some of the past livestreams and new ones moving forward. Several different concepts covered as well as tips & tricks which has helped me tremendously.

It ALL helps. The way you can throw a line or a box on a bare chart and have it tell a story is pretty wicked cool tbh. Def not looking for this to get to the hand holding stage and have never been a HODL'er but I also believe in the theory of letting trades breathe if even just a little bit. So if a trade doesn't go quickly in your favor after entry which is pretty rare, the $1 million question is best or even decent SL placement. I love to trade the EURUSD, but it’s in transition and we have the EU equivalent of JP speaking at 4AM CST Friday Morning. The upper trend line has been respected several times and the Price Action OBs have been support. I will not make any trades on the EUR until I see one of two paths taken. Either, bounce BULL of the OB or Bear and get past it.

As you can see here the 1hr, there’s still no CHOCH or BOS. we are at the the Fib 38 and a 1hr OB but it is more likely that it will go to the 4hr OB and the 50% Fib

According to my calculations, a short swing (should) be good on ES to 4223. Which lines up perfectly with previous area of support and decent liquidity. I just might close my long today and enter short. Looks pretty promising but I want to see more displacement to downside first. If we get it, I’m all in!!!!

On the other hand, if no displacement or engulfing candles happen, path of least resistance is to upside and next area of resistance is at 4600. 👀. Which is very scary!!! Absolutely no fundamental’s support a move like that or even the 6% move we just had in 5 days. lol

1 full e mini. I swing with full ES contracts and scalp with micros. It might be backwards what I do but it works for me. I can scale out of scalp. Which to me makes more sense than scaling out of a swing.

The hyperwave additional is a good trigger to enter. Its just depends on your style. Some traders like to enter on a breakout, some like to wait for a pullback after the break out. Neither is right or worng, and each style can and will incur early or later losses. All about trade management once you enter.

Also note for an idea, might be a cleaner strat if you emphasize on a few trigger features, instead of all the triggers on your chart. As an example, if we aded 60 different indicators on one chart, and if we wait for all 60 indicators to be in confluence, we can all agree, we either get in late, or we dont have too much, if any, confluence entries.

Some strats, I ignore what the moneyflow says, and just emphasize the hyperwave turning points.

• I cant stress enough about trade management, in the last LuxAlgo livestream, I gave an example with a bare candlestick chart and a random horizontal line, and how a trader can effectively trade this with proper trade management.

OB perhaps? I'm in agreement with not needing 100% confluence on every indicator for entry but working on implementing Osc into the strat. I've noticed on an OB break or retest, the turning points are something I'd prefer to prioritize as the MF can often disagree with my entry idea. Especially like turning points up below the 50 and vice versa.

Somebody did an experiment where they would flip a coin and take a trade position based off heads buy tails sell. They were able to make consistent money by just risk management alone.

I'll review the live stream. I'm striving to get to a set of rules. Not a scalper but aiming for 3 to 14 day swings of sorts. I can "feel" how things might play but .. that's not good enough. I want to see this that or this and then apply trade management and send it. Will be looking at ps71 swing stuff as well.

Yeah, @main kiln has a good swing set-up, also he has his "feeling" as well. Just have to get to that point where you have your own "feeling" about an asset. Just have to know the symbol inside and out. Concentrate on one symbol to learn the ebb and flow.

I, for sure, think a retest of highs are definitely in order…. Internals are bullish, most indicators are and will be pointing to more buying, there’s a TON of money on sidelines just waiting to be put to work, and finally the end of the year is coming. Santa Claus rally. Skipped us last year!

Moody’s remarks might be a small speed bump to slow down market for a day or so, but until they actually do downgrade the AAA rating, it’s all talk and I believe the market will take it as such and brush it off.

thanks Micky, please bear with me as Im new and even links to docs will do me so I can readup or explanations would be great. First question 1) is on the price action concept indicator. Am I correct in saying that if an order block has substantially more green than red then buyers were more active in it and are probably exhausted and therefore it is a bearish order block so if price approaches it from below it will likely reverse? Is that correct? or basically what defines a bullish or bearish order block? 2) In signals and overlays can an alert be setup for when it prints a green + (take the trade icon) ? If so how? 3) Can price action concepts show the ASIAN, London, NY session times? 4) IS there any documentation on the little dashboard widget with trendstrength. Sqeeze and volatility? Id like to understand that more. 5) Finally how can order blocks appear on different timeframes on not on others? Are order blocks just liquidity? Where is the order block data coming from is it order books on exchanges or what exactly is it? Sorry for the number of questions I just want to try and understand it fully. Thanks again

Indicators will only appear on TradingView platform. You can trade direct on the TradingView charts, and your executions would be pushed into your Tradovate account, as long as you integrated the connection properly, as there are Tradovate/TradingView connection fees, as well as real time data fee's
