But, for your 15m, the way it stands, we have a LH, and thats all I know.
I try not to guess or assume.
I need to wait for price to take one of 2 paths, and then I decide what to do.
On your chart, the move already happened at the rejection of the 15m OB on the HH and the LH
Now I wait for the next OB

The matrix Oscillator is fire. I have been practicing for a few weeks straight with the matrix. After you use it every day for hours and hours studying it watching it learning it feeling it , you can really see what's happening and the probability of what's going to happen. I use it with the 1 hr 15 min and 5 min , for me its becoming very very powerful! Using the matrix as my primary with confluence from select Overlays and select OB's. Thanks to @old crow Micky as well as @hidden moss for their extreme patients , kindness , humanity and encouragement. The people in this community are different in my experience joining community's like this. I would describe it as kind , encouraging non judgmental. Pretty rare to find in this online world in my opinion.

The link you provided showed this image. It notes that Breakers are not solid color while Blocks are solid - make sense on its own. But when I activate "Show Breakers" I get the orange zone I noted earlier. I don't see this on the image that you linked - see here. So after reviewing the link, I still don't know what the Orange Breaker is and why it only appears sometimes

Make it orange, blue, purple, of whatever color you want for the breakers. Maybe pink?

For me, I dont really like to curb fit my charts, but use the same template everyday, as I like longer trends. Just me, but other additions can be very helpful as well depending on your goal

This is spy... I get better signals with autopilot off on the right side. (you have to manually adjust sensitivity then).

Regarding TSLA... I concur it's quite noisy. Take a look at the 4hr and then 2hr chart instead. TSLA seemed to be a little smoother and seemed to signal better at the 2hr chart.

but I'm looking in very short term (in & out within the day) as this stock is gapping for real

Follow Micky and the luxalgo live streams. (they are recorded out there). He leverages the 4hr for bias, and trades off the lower timeframes intraday and the methods make total sense. I have a day job so day trading isn't my best option... i'm aiming for 1-3 day trades or very long swings. So what I tune/tinker with may not be the best for anyone else.

indeed I have some backlog of videos. I saw 2-3 so far, the OB detection at 4H makes sense
but most setup I saw were then jumping to 15m TF for other confluence signals
15m is a bit too long to get in/out within the day
I'm testing a bit with the option but the volatility either

• forces to go for contrarian mode (not always accurate though as you get false positives) OR
• aim for trend catcher traversal before you even get signals (which is close to moving average cross)
  so far I didn't reach a decent setup at least

I agree... the streams are extremly useful. My take away is that both, the 4h and daily OBs are extremly useful for daytrading as "major landmarks of liquidity". And to my understanding any short time frame could be used for trade execution, wether it is 1min 5min or 15min. But maybe I also got it all wrong 😄

I don't believe there is a limitation on which TF can be used, the high level are as you say good for liquidity levels.
but I'm facing some challenge to get a decent system on 1->5 min scale.

Not easy, no... struggeling also with execution and a good system would be super important. Look at the streams... Mickey often used exiting or rejection from these major Orderblocks as entries - Ideally a re-test(s), give fairly good risk-rewards for longer swing trades ... I hope

(Learning lol) looked like it was leaving the top 4hr block to the down side, tested it, got in at the red arrow. My line in the sand exit was the top of that top purple order block. (went to meetings). Came back. SPY went down like I figured, reversed, crossed my line in sand and returned inside the 4hr block by the time I returned. This am, again, leaves the 4hr order block down. I have a planned exit if it tags the 432. Same line in sand at top of the top purple order block. Will see what today (and any associated volatility) brings. -- It's not quite the 2+:1 reward to risk ratio I'd love... but if I get a base hit based on what the blocks show , I'll take it. Still learning / refining.

So far 3/3.. (even though I'm not perfect, my consistency is up) planned exit hit, got a base hit for $34, but not as intended. Seems the market makers like to be jenky with implied volatility on options. I suspect I can compensate by using far side of a 4hr order block for the the Think or Swim estimates for a GTC sell order. (Either that, or start studying up on futures lol). -- why only $34? because i'm only trading 1 contract for not to get the model/method down. Trade management and especially emotion management, but low risk. 1 contract, puts emotion aspects in the game and consequently management of them through rules. Once consistent and refined, higher returns is a matter of ramping up contracts.

Every single asset/symbol has its' own unique ebb and flow (price action).
And depending what timeframe the chart is, and depending on the entire set of data loaded onto the chart (look back data), the Trend Catcher will become and stay flat as it deems that the symbol is in a range zone, with no clear direction.

Man….I went shopping for some stocks today to look for any sales. I found 0! Every single stock in this market is absurdly, ridiculously overpriced. Who ever is buying now is either 1 of too things. trying out swing preset, with 2hr... signals have some prospects, and neo cloud has stair steps to follow... its sitting on a 4h block and discount zone... which makes me go HMMM (have to watch which way it comes out of that 4hr block and for retests)

1hr chart has some prospects for signals & longer term swing trades as well.

Probably have to grab a 30-45dte option to beat theta though... but might also be able to use cred spreads at those signals. More learning to do.. but there's something to it in here 🙂

Maybe find an example chart, where you entered, which went wrong. I think people can you help better. I think this is a common problem for many. SL-hunting is a pain in the a** especially in these illiquid times. In a way - I like Wifey' s take, which is "Stops are for busses and not for trades" 😉 I more and more understand that the key is not the Stop Loss, but to only only enter high-conviction trades with proper position sizing. Youtube and Twitter are full of guides to set SL's... usually with the same rules. The problem is that everyone knows the rules and therefore they are exploited by SL-hunting. My Tip 1 for you would be to only enter the trades you have high conviction for and lots of confluence. With confidence in the trade you would be to place a much wider SL, beyond the "usual" ones. You might want to adjust the increased risk with a smaller position size. Tip 2: Do not enter the trade as planned, but set a limit order, where you normally would have set your SL. You will miss some trades, but thats how it is... then you wait for the next one. Bottomline is to slow down with trading, find the the good ones and enter+stay with confidence. Tip3 would be to use two or more SL to spread the risk. This might keep you in a trade with at least a part of your position or you might even want to add more again, once the SL was hunted. Tip4: Operate with a "soft SL" and an Emergency exit. This requires though that you need to follow the trade. What i mean is to set maybe an alert in Tradingview, but not an active SL. If the alert goes, you monitor the price. If it just becomes a SL-wick..you are good. If the price stars closing candles over beyond your SL, you execute the SL manually. Complement this with a higher Emergency SL on your exchange.

Last tip...staggered entry. Enter with a small size only and wait. You can add more, after the hunting is over, if you want and if the trade idea is still valid. Sometimes the price runs hard and you dont get a second entry... but at least you are in the trade with some money. And small profits will build your account as effectivly over time and is better than loosing big money in SL-hunting

Make sure to not only use those. Recommend to listen to the live streams by Jakob and Micky... there is always something useful to learn there. In context of your issue, I like Jakob's take a lot... to collect as much confluence as possible, which can involve often 4-5 conditions... the probabiltiy that the trade will work out in your favour becomes significantly higher than that it does not work out. Hence it should give you the confidence to enter the trade needed to ignore the usual SL-recommendations

• LuxAlgo Candle Coloring Simple
• Use charts showing multiple TF's, with higher TF's as your directional bias, and lower TF's as your entry/exit trade management chart
• As an example, I drew a green box around the most recent bull trend on the 4H TF, green candle coloring
• On a lower TF, take possible entries in the direction of this 4H green candle coloring bull trend
• Example, scalp on the lower TF's on green candle coloring
• Rinse and repeat.
• Then you can polish this concept with additional confluences, such as the Oscillator Matrix

Can it be that simple?

• Well, lets put it this way, don't make it harder on yourself
  Focus

Lets use this concept on ES
I drew red box on the most recent bearish trend, red candle coloring on 4H TF
Take all red candle coloring short entries on"your" lower TF chart.

• This may or may not be the holy grail, but it sure keeps me safe, to limit my losses
