my chart will get crowded if i mark all the boxes with price level. You can treat my boxes as good price range as you can see my time frame, if you are looking to scalp then you need to look at lower time frame . Boxes can give you a good idea. I can give you an important price level on the chart

Im going to repost this as it's the weekend, and feels like the right time:

Hey if you folks are struggling, but you actually do KNOW why, but still struggle due to fomo or distractions etc...
and your telling yourself, "that's it, the next trade, I will follow my rules..." but we don't, for some reason, the cycle continues, week after week.

🤔 Just step back and hear what the common thread to all of what your reading here and out there.
Which is, study, learn, and controlling emotions.
Without this, doesn’t matter what strat you use, you will blow your account over and over again.

• So how can you reset your mind, after all your blown accounts and losses?
  Just take 5pips hard TP.
  YES, 5 pips - Hear me out
  or 4-8 ticks hard TP.

What’s the purpose of 5 pips a day or 5 pips per trade? or 4-8 ticks per trade?

• So when you target bigger profits and get stopped out over and over again, what does that do?
  You get shattered and disappointed and want to give up because all this is BS and a scam, right?
  All your hard work in studying charts and your account is blown.
  You feel depressed.

• So the purpose of SMALL hard TP scalps?
  It’s easier to predict and win at 5 pips, vs 20-50 pips, or easier at 4 ticks, vs 20-60 ticks

• It’s a self esteem booster.

• Confidence booster.

It will solidify all your education and chart studies.

• You feel better that you control your financial success.

Then once you start to do this on a consistent basis, increase lot size, OR target larger TP's.

• How many of you have lost trades after trades?
• When you lost, what was your target pip/tick size? Please think about this.

Lets start fresh and just grab that quick 5 pips, or 4-8 ticks, a few times.

• This will make you feel better.
  THEN go for the larger pip/tick targets when you are ready.
• This is not the only answer, but just another way to get you BACK on the horse and GET your confidence BACK.

That is all this is, it is not a strategy, it is just a way to get you back feeling better about yourself.

This helped me... look at mark douglas 1 thru 7 - around trading psychology. https://www.youtube.com/@Mr.Trader. If you go in with a plan, based on your rules, and you come back and see it went against, just get out of the way. Have a line in the sand where the trade should not be, and just be out. Then go back re-analyze. These videos taught/reminded me, its a statistics game. Find the edge, trade the edge, and be out if it does't play.

My biggest fail in the past was "omg, it went the other way... I should trade that way" which is exactly the emotion the market wants to drag one into... to take your money, again

Sometimes it's difficult to see that you're making mistakes while you're in that trading mindset that people get into. I'm slowly trying to get rid of emotion while trading I really didn't lose that much ground the past few days I will continue to get better and improve and take the little wins. I love love love how Micky uses 4hr for bias. The word bias, I think of as "the herd". Which way is the herd running. and only taking trades at lower TF in general direction of the herd makes total sense.

@hidden moss its ok to step back... re-paper trade, then start off with 1 contract .. because that puts skin in game and emotion.. and if 1 contract works consistently... its just ramping up contracts later.

(hence why i've only been 1 contract while I refine things)

yes you can set AI alerts using custom alerts. These are trader depended as there are a multitude of combination sequences. You can search through the group, specifically in the support room and see examples from the LuxAlgo mods and support helping other traders set these up

I have a question about the alarm

I want a alarm right here (where the white arrow is pointing at).

What steps do i need in the alarm section?

Just talk it out first. Write the steps that need to happen. Then you put these thoughts into the alert settings, to see if it works. If it works, great. If you have errors, then rethink and talk the steps out in paper, literally on paper, write it out like a flow chart. “If this ‘A’ happens, then I wait for this ‘B’ to happen, while ‘A’ is still valid……….”

You have to go through this to learn and create future alerts on your own…

@tame socket Sweep strategy is a basic great strategy. He is basically selling at Premiums levels, and buying at Discount levels. Buy at lows and sell at highs. His highs and lows are previous sessions highs and lows. His own Premium and Discount levels.

Why don’t you try finding a strategy using rsi overbought and oversold levels and divergences coupled with the matrix. Those can be very high performing on a high time frame. It’ll give you time to see everything.

It seems as if your confidence is down trader. Losses will come and wins will too! My best advice is to study and then study more. And once you finished studying, study some more. You need a mentor. A trustworthy one is hard to find. But you can do it! If no mentor is in sight, go to local library and start by looking up “how the market works”. Example: price action, or day trading futures…. No one here (I don’t think anyway) will hold your hand and walk you through the whole learning process. The secret magic you’re so looking for is found in the work you’re trying to avoid. Words of wisdom my son and fellow trader…..

I’m sorry if that sounded impolite or offensive. That’s the way I was taught. My mentor was tough and it was his way or the highway. He (in my eyes IS the best!) but tough. I wanted to jump right in and make a fortune but He didn’t let me take not one until I proved I knew price action. Once I proved it, I was able to watch live action and point out certain patterns, entries, exits….Once I proved that, I was able to place a trade but He was examining my posture and emotions. lol. Another fail! But He taught me to overcome doubt, fear, anxiety and all that comes with live trades. All those emotions never fully leave, you just learn how to deal with them successfully and not succumb to emotions or feelings.

😓 whew…. That was a long one. I must yawn now! 🙏

@drowsy garnet If you are trading based on OB Support to OB Resistance along with the confirmation from the Osci Matrix as per the photo .. Let us take the RR to 1:1 only if you look the trade has already achieve the TP while SL is below the OB itself

More than 1m TF .. i prefer the 3m TF to be powerfull for trend confirmation

It all depends on how you read the chart for BOS - Break of Structure or Choch Change of Character

Yep... based on what I'm seeing, it will make a run up to the 4hr block. but not taking up trades on it. market bias still sideways / down. The move seems rather bear flaggy. hyperwave up above 80. money flow not reflecting anything bullish. But I can see how they trying to suck folks in. 🙂

I've got an older "mitigated" orderblock left over on my chart yet, in purple. If I'm reading the heard right... probably runs for the 435 and then dumps, maybe back to 430 or lower this week. if it doesn't then I have to watch for a higher high play out beyond the 437-438 ish range.

👀 Just wanted to give some ideas if your overwhelmed with everything.

• Find a "Mechanical Concept."
  Not a "subjective, interpretive concept," but a Mechanical Concept, as this will come later as you progress.

Find a mechanical concept that YOU like, don't force yourself to like something, that you don't believe in.

A Mechanical Concept that has CLEAR rules, no ambiguity.

Example (just example):
When Signals & Overlays prints a buy/short signal, in direction of Smart-Trail, take entry in same direction on the re-test of the Smart-Trail.

That's it, clear-cut rules.
A mechanical-concept.
Now study and test this over and over again.
Once you get the hang of this,
then you start to add a few more confluences, to subjectively filter out some entry's, with YOUR OWN analysis.

Question on the neo cloud... on the right hand pane, it went from "Fat" red to "Thin" blue. Even though the stock moved up, neo took that info as being a thinner move it seems. -- Is there something to fat/thin that I should be taking into consideration. (Also note how the left hand pane, 4hr chart also has a thin , sideways neo....) Am I reading this correct that there isn't a lot of weight or oomph going on in the move? or ?

Its tough really, for something like this, maybe stocks or symbols that soley trade NY hours, you would need to find the optimal TF, maybe something other than 4H? and remember NEO is a longer smoother trend indi

*lots of focus on PAC and order blocks etc, I prefer S&O and OM tbh...so quick question...if using an anchor time frame, and an execution one to find entries....you mentioned 1HR and 15min respectively...thats a 4:1 ratio...if scalping small timeframes would 5m to 1m be reasonable...or if would you look for 15m to 1m, which is the same ratio effectively as 4HR to 15m..

For me anything under 15m is noisy. It may be good one day, and then you feel unstoppable, but the next day, it will stop you. And I think 15m is still a bit noisy as well. I just love 4H's
