But if we add levels, support/resistance levels, or trendlines etc, and create a rule, then we can take only those signals that align with our rules and set-up.

Indeed, so much to choose from. Been working on refining. Main goal is to find & catch a 3 day move / trend or so... Something where I don't have to be right there watching for that one move on a 15 min chart. (I have a day job) Something that happens often enough that I'm not waiting weeks for a trade, but not so fast that I can't catch it with said day job. I understand, maybe you can choose a market that is open only at the times that you are not working so you can still catch the move/trend.

For example: if you live in the timezone utc (western europe) you can trade the stock market in america that opens at 3:30 PM utc. Or you can find other markets that fits to your time with your work and the timezone where you live in.

To summarize:
Red -> Bullish purple Bullish Confirmation
Green -> Bearish purple Bearish Confirmation
Red -> Green Bullish+
Green -> Red Bearish+
Bullish purple -> Green Bullish Confirmation Turn Strong
Bearish purple -> Red Bearish Confirmation Turn Strong
Green -> Bullish purple No alert currently (unless you code a change from 1 to 0)
Red -> Bearish purple No alert currently (unless you code a change from -1 to 0)

Candle color is based off of the same algorithm as confirmation signals, so your sensitivity setting will affect these as well. The alerts for candle color are the same as the confirmation signal alerts, albeit with a few limitations. Red -> Green = strong bullish confirmation, and vice versa for bearish. Anything to purple with be normal bullish or bearish confirmation. However, and this is where it gets tricky, there seems to be a bullish purple or bearish purple which can be seen when switching to gradients. The switch from red to bullish purple will result in a bullish confirmation, while red to bearish purple, or from bearish purple to red, will NOT have a confirmation signal. You can however set an alert for bearish purple to red, by using the Turn Strong options in Any alert(). Yes, I know it's a bit complicated, but the algo is more than a just a bit complicated too 😉

I think it has something to do with those indicators that have been updated. It was happening to me too big time yesterday, but then Trading View can get a bit iffy sometimes. I tried creating alerts myself just now so I can tell you it's not a Signals and Overlays or LuxAlgo issue.

We don't force a trade because we spent time on it, if it's not there, we delete everything and move on.

GBP/USD 4H

• Another idea thats back in my head.

USD/CAD

• If the Dollar keeps the bullish path, then maybe this set-up would be nice, the juicy FVG needs to be filled

👀 The path that I draw ahead of time, maybe right, or maybe wrong. The point is, I am focusing on a path, so when price starts to follow this path, I will be ready and focused. If price doesn’t follow this path, then I move on to another symbol with another path.

Price can take a million paths on a chart, so I just do the best I can to figure out the path that it could take, so when it does take my path, then I am more confident and focused to jump in.

AutoPilot is user defined.
The Dashboard Optimal Sensitivity is chart price action dependent to be used in the settings, but you can also use your own values for this sensitivity as well.....

It is also noted in the docs.

I have received a few messages regarding the use of Fibonacci Retracements in a few of my posts and Pro-Strategies. The Fib retracement is an old, but effective, concept to help validate points of interest entries. Just like the MACD that everyone in this trading world is aware about, you can put the Fibs into this category. The key to using the Fib Retracement tool, is the experience in where to anchor the fib bracket on the latest highs/lows structure. I use the Tradingview Fib Retracement tool. Here is a TV support link on this fib tool:

• These Fibs Retracement is actually the core of the Price Action Concepts Premium/Equilibrium/Discount Zones.
• Bracketing the Fib levels, provide the same exact Premium and Discount Levels.

• The 100% Fib Level is the Premium Level
• The 0% Fib Level is the Discount Level
• The 50% Fib Level is the Equilibrium Level

The PAC Premium/Discount Zones is plotting the most recent swing structure

You can use the fib tool to locate smaller micro structures, by using the H's and Low's of price action.

Here is the EUR/USD that had a nice Fib level entry, with PAC OB's as confluence for a short entry:

• Several charts that show you step by step
• The last chart shows an overlay of PAC OB's
• The red circle is the area of 71-79% Fib level, which is the same area as a 4H OB
• This could had been a nice short entry

In this example, price really didnt cross into my 71-79% Fib level, but it did cross over the 50% level, which is the Premium area, where you are looking for a short.

• Sell when prices are high (Premium)
• Buy when prices are low (Discount)
• So the 71-79% is my rule to keep me from over trading and looking for the highest premium prices in this example to short.
• Your rule could had been short anywhere above the 50% Fib level, which worked out in this example, as there was an OB above in the premium area above the 79% level that gave you confluence . So when that LH printed in the red circle, that would had been your signal. About 90 pips to TP 0% level

So hope this helps, this is kind of hard to explain in writing......

No, you will have to make one alert for 3 and one alert for 4. That makes 2 different alert, one for each

Actually, no, what @finite bear said is slightly incorrect. If you write 34 in AI Classifier, this is 3 OR 4. You do however, have to make 2 alerts, using the Signal tickbox also on Step 1, one for Bullish and one for Bearish.

You could double check your custom alert settings by looking at the highlight bar below, if the correct signals are highligted, then you are good to go.

One of the largest problems I have had is revenge trading.

Overtrading comes with that as well.

Then I think about it and know that I overtrade and then I miss out on signals due to fear or just not wanting to be wrong

Pick a session or time slot to trade. If your setup happens in your time slot, then great. If it doesn’t, then that’s it, no trades and you wait till next days time slot. Focus and adhere to your time slot rule. This will prevent you from over trading

Im slowly working on that, one of the things I find most difficult is ending the day down but sometimes it just happens. The goal is to figure out how to keep losses to a minimum by adjusting my risk/reward ratio and take profit/stoplosses

IM trying to utilize all the tools I have.

• Just to let you know, this play I posted a few times early yesterday, got tagged in, worked out for a bit, then got smack in the face and hit SL at 100% fib level
• Nothing I can do here, didn't work out, it's ok, it sucks, but in the grand scheme of things, I know the next winner will more than offset this.
• I always mentioned trade management during a scalping position, but also "Strategy Management."
• Strategy Management, meaning, keep yourself honest, follow your rules, no revenge, no fomo, live with the results and we wait for the next rule-based set-up.
• We have got to effectively manage whats in our heads.
• This is a numbers game, if we follow our rules, we will have more winners that losers at the end of the game.

I am trying to do same thing creating OB on 5min chat using PAC 4hr but no OB I am missing something ?

Because at times, the 4H OB wont show up on lower TF like 5M because the way the 5m candles mitigated the 4H OB, but on an actual 4H chart, it has not been mitagated by a 4H candle yet

that is why sometimes i draw a global box on my 4H OB chart so that I see that on a loer TF

Most times it does show up, but sometimes a lower TF chart candle will mitigate the higher TF OB

Example, when a 4H candle wicks past a 4H OB, but doesnt mitigate it, but at same time, lower TF candle such as 5m chandles, would had mitigated this 4H OB. There would had been 5m candles formed and closed inside that 4H wick, that mitigated the 4H OB

Hi there, yes, you can use a price crossing Smart trail Extremity in your alert. There are two lines comprising the area of a Smart Trail, the Smart Trail Extremity which is closer to price, and the Smart Trail itself, which is the darker colored line.

Its changes as that is what it was designed to do, provide you the best optimal sensitivty for a rolling look-back period. So when time progress, and with the new ebb and flow, there will always be updated optimal values. If you do not want that and use a set value, sure, test out what actual values fit best for you, and dont change it, the docs give you a guideline for thishttps://docs.luxalgo.com/lux-algo-premium-indicators/lux-algo/dashboard#optimal-sensitivity

@old crow I'm looking at the latest live stream with Jacob's setup. Jacob runs PAC and then Signals and overlays with no auto pilot and manually adjusts sensitivity to chart optimized. If I add the additional PAC with the 4hr setting (ala Micky style) and thin it down to just order blocks, does the sensitivity being manual impact it at all?

✅ well, so far, made enough to cover this months tradingview and luxalgo costs 🙂 It wasn't easy and I didn't have all the confluence on the 30 min chart but had enough and a planned line in sand for an out if it didn't go the way I planned and a GTC planed exit for if it did. Only did 1 contract to have skin in the game (which allows for trading psychology practice. Most importantly, learned more around what I could do better. Starting to see how the confluenc plays out like a story, and refining charts to help see the story better.
