Hey there, good thought, but unfortunately I do not believe LuxAlgo will create this separate section, as Lux themselves, are just a provider of indicators and toolkits. So it's pretty much up to us to create our own strategies and backtest them, and optimize etc. The strategies in the ProStrat section are not complete strategies, the missing part is "you." Please optimize according to your own personal style. Because I think that everyone knows, that when we read or watch a video on the web that claims 60-90% win rate, are we going to test it ourselves before we risk real money? same thing here

We can only rely on ourselves....

But, Lux has provided us a seperate section under each Pro-Strat to chat with the author and other members, for tweaks, changes etc to make it hopefully better....

I am not familiar with Indian assets, but from this chart, you could do the fib your way, like this I think. But still no confirmation break to the down side yet. So up to you and your strat. But based on this fib, your entry is in the money. Remember, this is hindsight....

it's not that they dont work, its that they dont trigger on every single colour. they pick and choose. it looks random

So i've left the alerts run all night. They trigger all the purple candles. But do not trigger the all the green and red candles

if a staff can look into why and think of a workaround that would be great!

The candles are related to the signals, or haven't you noticed that. They are based on the same sensitivity.

Bullish+ = red to green. Bearish+ = green to red.

Quite a few convos ago, I think I mentioned to you that there is such a thing as bearish purple and bullish purple. When that happens, as the signal still remains the same (sell or buy) there is NO signal confirmation.'

So to get that alert, you need the turned strong alerts.

BUT I will look for several entry points in that direction
Yes, I use Neo or Smart Trail depending on asset and depending on the scalp I feel like taking. But yes to both

I tried a little with short term and yes you can have some false signal on the shorter time frame. I guess using mid term or long term can filter some of them. I guess I never asked but I still don’t understand where you put your stop loss. Well the take profit is 10 pips of course.

For me, I use an indicator flip for my exit.
meaning if candle bar color flips on me, or Matrix Turning Point flips on me, im out

OB's are not formed on the actual bar, the algo determines a few bars later, if it meets the criteria to form an OB.
With these OB's, I use them when price comes back near these level

As long as the indicator is on your chart, this is fine. Just a chache glitch. But for your question on green bars when price going done. Depends, if your zooming out, the trend may still be bullish. But you can change the candle coloring sensitivity if you want. Use auto pilot short term or adjust the Signals Sensitivity value

Your on Nifty which has limited of hours, and your on oil which can be fast. So when your on long term, this might not be the best for these types of assets. Also, be careful when you fit the indicators to the candles you see now. Because the candles will be different moving forward. Always optimize to the asset your looking at. One size does not fit all as you lower the TF

it could but i woudlnt recommend placing trades at equilibrium. You really dont wanna buy in the middle you should be buying or selling at the tops and bottoms of the range it paints

The premium and discount is based on a fib. So you can expect price to react a little there, as extra buyers and selling will be entering the market. But because of that, it wouldn’t be a safe place for you enter. If anything, I would only close at the equilibrium, if you chose not to hold your position.

Been observing this since earlier, and removing the trend filter does give the alerts that you need. Just keep in mind that the filters in Signals and Overlays will remove the confirmation signals and hence any alerts that are related to those. The candle coloring in itself is using the sensitivity (whether auto pilot, manually set sensitivity) but the current confirmation signal alerts will be affected by any preset filters you may use. I will turn this alert off now as it's driving me nuts 😂

i stopped using the candle alerts. Instead using the signal alerts that pop up when the candles change colours. But some of them still dont show up even when the preset is set to none and autopilot mid term.

I guess I was the last one to know, for those who trade direct on TV charts with an integrated broker, TV has made it possible to trade the continuous contract for the Futures market, no need to keep track of which contract month we need to trade and when it will expire. For ES, we can just trade direct on the TV chart the ES1! continuous contract. THIS is huge, the small things that make me happy. Who knew? I didnt until now, LOL

The same as we discussed, Turn strong and strong confirmations.

The + alerts are for red to green and green to red notifications, then the turn strong alerts are for bullish purple to green, and for bearish purple to green.

It is very easy to make mistakes when making alerts, so I would recommend making your alerts from a clean chart in order to make it less likely.

IMO, I don't think so. Main reason is that price charts are fractal, meaning similar patterns can show up in lower to higher timeframes. And since technical analysis is based primarily on price .......

Now, whether or not it is easy to see and react to the patterns is a different story 😄

of course it is, but you would need to refresh your trading view on your browser or app by opening a clean chart. this way trading view will load up your revised permissions including the lux scripts. just make sure that you have the correct trading view username connected - far as I recall that is case sensitive.

I tried mid term since clears from some false signals…. Well this is basically signals and overlays (no pac or matrix) where 2 out of 3 overlays (trend catcher mandatory , and at least 1 of the other overlays trend tracer and/or smart trail ) has to confirm the buy or sell signal. Without those confluences the signal is useless . Exit at the x or at trend catcher changing color. Well I don’t know if it has been already posted. I started this strategy requiring all the overlays to be confluences but most of the time the trades were too short and the signals could be really far away from the trade. So I tried 2 and works fine.

3 layouts, 1 is Preset TTracer, 2nd is preset Smart Trail, 3rd one is a main one where you take signals from.

All options are ticked off except Trend Catcher.

1st overlay all signals blue, 2nd overlay all signals blue, 3rd overlay all signal orange.

Autopilot on all Overlay Mid-term.

Thats it.

Well yes in the end you remove the orange signals and you filter confluences with catcher on the blue sign. Yes we are almost there (just because I would take even orange candles if some candles after confluences comes together …. We all know that not all confluences comes at same moment.) but I would ask you. When I see your chart I just see the trend catcher….. while when I fix the pre filter for smart trail and trend tracer they shows on the chart

The setting is easy to do but if you want here you have my original not semplified strategy:

The rules are simple;

• for buys (opposite for sells).
• middle term sensitivity
• buy signal
• trend catcher green (if not on the signal wait for it)
• at least 1 of the other overlays has to flip bullish (trend tracer or smart trail)
• exit at the first x signal or trend catcher flipping red)
• obs. If the trend catcher flips red exit the trade but if still on buy signal re enter when the trend catcher flips green

New contract letter is "Z" for December expiration. So be aware of the gradual transfer of volume from Sept to Dec contract.

• and for those who trade direct on TV charts, you can use ES1! continuous contract, your executions will be processed under the correct contract. Just look at your trading panel and you can see the actual contract your trade will be executed on. This is an AWESOME TV feature, make my life easier
