Thanks i found it. Does the alarm then remain active in the time unit in which I have programmed it? If I now have the chart window open in the 15 min chart and create the alarm with the grabs, does TV then give me an alarm for this base value in the 15 MIN if a grab has occurred?

The alert retains the settings of the indicators and chart when you created it. The alert does NOT update when you change your indicator/chart settings.

I am not exactly sure what you mean - there are Trend catcher alerts available for when it changes from green to red and vice versa. You could find them in the Create Alert dialog as seen in the image below:

Im pretty new to this as well. Use a demo account for sure. Preferably one that works directly on TradingView.

Then I’d recommend searching @old crow poses and strategy. I’ve been getting good results with it (on demo of course). Not nearly as complicated ICT or something like that

But I like to also try to look at price action to see if im near any important levels or anything if forming to make@me feel more comfortable trading based off the Lux colors

Oh alright I see! I was just thinking that it would serve as a great taking profit feature , for example you go to bed, you are in a long, you see the price that would be needed to flip the trend catcher bearish, set your stop loss there… and sweet dreams ! 😉👍

You can always set an alert for it flipping. Granted you won’t notice it while you sleep but during the day it would work

I've written it to backtest (and use live), as a single pinescript file which is a strat which allows easier backtesting, time range checking etc. . I was thinking of dropping it into #1128499789437354106 as a single script (with proper code attribution), but don't want to include luxalgo open source stuff if that's against the rules to combine them.

are you guys happy for it as a single pinescript and write up, or would you prefer it pure descriptive with source TV links and less functionalality to allow users to piece it together themselves? no stress either way

Also, it´s not just what the contract would cost but also the leverage the broker gives you. If I wanted to buy 1 unit of ES_F Micro I would need to have $10425.00 in account to cover margin requirement. It´s different for every asset you trade. Like @old crow said.

OK, those dots are the Turning Points, of when the HyperWave changes direction. Think of it as a moving avergae crossing signal. The HyperWave is much more reactive to price movements, and the MoneyFlow is much more smoother with less noise. In theory when red bearish MoneyFlow, you are looking for HyperWave Turning Point Down (white dots with white wave)

Great read on MoneyFlow, if it works, stick with it with tunnel vision, eyes on it. Then maybe down the road, you can incorporate the HyperWave for precise entries/exits validation with your other trigger rules

I basically use the hyperwave turning points to keep holding on to trades it's removed the jitters from waiting for higher lows on longs or lower highs on shorts when in positions

And money flow is also 🔥 for conviction based exits/trails

Sorry, not sure how to explain this...as an example, if the trend is up, while hyperwave goes from 20 to 80, the market moves let's say 100 points up. If it's a strong trend, when the hyperwave moves down for a pullback and goes 80 to 20, the market only pulls back ...60 points making a lower high

Obviously not a full proof thing, but just empirical observation

Alright, I think I know why. In Step mode what happens is that it checks if your first condition is true, then waits for your next condition to happen. Just be aware that it doesn't mean that both of them are happening at the same time, it just means that step 1 occurred before step 2.

Actually what is interesting is that there is a bullish OB there by the swing low, for some reason it isn't showing.

So it does work, the highlight shows up in the right place. The higher TF OB isn't showing until the 30 min chart though.

This is a very quick crude example on how I view these Liquidity TrendLines. Not the same way as traditional trend line breaks, but as liquidity areas that price needs to come back to @gritty kite

YES, if you read Lux Docs on this, read the paragraph deep about the Liquidity zones, and you start to think, HOLD UP and WAIT A MINUTE. If its Liquidity, then price tends to come back to grab those levels. So I just continued the Lux Docs explanation in my head about this......

Depends on your broker. I believe TOS can trade almost 24/7 SPX ETF's, that's why you see gaps when regular NYSE opens

If you look in https://discord.com/channels/641770286638694402/780585592911560734 you will see an option for higher timeframes including when the catcher switches bullish/bearish. It does not include any Premium/Discount zones though, but that can easily be determined when you look at your chart.
