This is why I do 10 pips on FX, I kinda have this feeling that 10 is a good number for EU in the measured moves (pullbacks and continuations, ABC waves etc) Look here, I read the HA bar patterns and took the 1st and 2nd wave. Then I stopped. Sure there was a 3rd wave, but that was enough for me, as these waves dont last forever.....

it might sound kinda odd but i meditate a lot, i do stuff like float tanks, spend lots of time really driving the mentality aspect into my self and focus a lot on self growth/personal development "what kind of trader/man do i want to be/become", i feel we all kind of can get lost in the sauce and the daily grind and we kind of end up in a bit of a weird spot mentally because of it, finding ways to enter the flow state helps a lot too, like i said above, trading is a lifestyle/mindset, and for a lot of people they need to reprogram themselves to get into that mindset because we're all conditioned by X and X growing up, but trading goes against traditional programing "get a 9-5/kids/wife/dog/etc etc"
im sure youve seen it a lot in this room too, people fusterated and such, their mentality isnt right
getting your mind into that growth mindset is huge too
it can take years to fully grow into, it doesnt happen right away

i focus mostly on crypto these days, i use mostly grid bots, its extremely primitive honestly and really simple but a lot comes down to know what tokens to put the bots on too, i could automate the stock market but crypto being open 24/7 helps a ton with earnings on bots

Totally agree, I have had issues around 'earning money this way' I didn't think that I was working hard enough. Making money can't be 'just pushing a button' . I have had to do a lot of visualisation just to try and get over that. There are so many as pects to this game, it's not surprising most give up. It's incredibly difficult, because we are 'against ourselves', which is the hardest to change. It's a tough journey, and one that you must do yourself. There's some lovely people along the way, pointing us in the right direction..... but they won't help with the baggage, because that's ours to carry. I have thought that trading is one of the greatest gifts of self-discovery. It also is a pain in the ass!! ๐

exactly, making money with trading goes against everything most people have been told growing up on how to make money, its a huge shock to a lot of people honestly, and like you said, you had to visualize a lot to get over it, thats something not many are willing to do because of the whole "I need or want to make XX,XXX amount by X date" like you said too, its a lot of self battling and fighting with ourselves, it can take a long time to change too, you really do have to want it really really bad in order for the change to happen, thats why i do stuff like float tanks, it can help so much with inwards growth which then reflects outwards into trading etc

LuxAlgo developer can better explain this but, from what I know and experienced, the Premium version script codes are optimized and will be continued to be tested and upgraded with additional features in the future. The best thing we have, are both options, the free individual conceptual indicators, and the Premium tool kit of Price Action Concepts.

I'm curious, were there changes made to how Volumetric Order Blocks/Liquidity Zones are calculated and displayed in Price Action Concepts 1.4? I'm noticing a drastic reduction in displayed zones. A fellow trader friend has not updated past 1.2.4, and he is seeing many more zones than I am (I'm running 1.4). Would it be possible for me to run an older version of the paid Price Action Concepts? Unless you have saved the older version on a template, it is not possible as the code has been updated to the latest version. What you can do tweak the settings to show additional OB's and optimize your start to the latest version.

Yes, there have been changes to the number of OBs displayed - previous had Internal and Swing OBs options, while the current has simplified the settings and added the Length option for flexibility. If you want to replicate the OBs shown from previous, you would change the settings for Show Last to show more OBs. Generally I keep mine at 15 so I can see the longer term OBs as well.

The sensitivity settings is one you need to tinker with for your best trade style.
If I'm not using optimal setting recommended on the dash board I either use Mid-term auto sensitivity or just 17.

Well, reducing noise and accurate are kinda like different. With less noise, comes less choppy signals. With more noise, more accurate signals, mixed in with choppy signals....so you just need to find that happy balance for yourself

Try this swing strat on something safe, not crypto or futures etc, something in stocks. For now. Example, pick a stock that is "best" in class, so if the trade goes the other way, it wont be that bad because YOU own a GREAT stock for long term investing. Something like Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Johnson/Johnson, some BEST in class company in their space. This way, you at least own something that you feel good about in the long term, and then you can learn how to read the Lux charts for some swing plays. This may not be sexy or exciting, but its the safest way that I can think of in your situation...in my opinion....Best In Class stocks....You dont have to load the boat, buy one or two shares and play with this idea, doesnt cost you much at all, not leveraged....

OH ok, trading the breakouts of patterns, with S&R as keys levels. This is great actually. How many patterns do you watch out for? Also the target of the upper resistant levels is good too. Also, what would invalidate this move? what would tell you to close out before it reaches your upper blue lines? If you have a rule for this, then you have a sound strategy for yourself

Personally, I would had closed out before the weekend, so that I can enjoy my weekend with no stress/worry, and start fresh Monday. Because if I still held on to this trade, and when Sunday/Monday comes around, I still need to babysit this, while other trade set-ups have come and gone with this asset or other assets that I am watching. So just depends on your "why" did you hold into the weekend. If I were you, I would set a sell stop limit order somewhere close to current price so you can be filled and closed out when sunday opens, because the spreads during sunday open can be a little harsh...Take your profits and enjoy!

Be super careful when building your pinescript strategy to not integrate indicators that repaint with data from the future from higher TFs, because it'll make your back test look like you cracked the mysteries of the universe, when in fact if you unleash it for automated trading you bleed money

What is more to tell? I've been working on some advanced bots like profit trailer (here you define the config yourself. You can mix and match top 20 indicators with different timeframes, and you can set different conditions and steps that have to get true before it buys. I really like it. My best config here have actually done 900% since Febrary, but it is based on martingale and it is cummulative. So basically it does around 1% a day. I expect it to rekt (even though it is paper money), so it is not very "safe". Then I've been working with wick hunter. This bot focuses on buying/sniping the liquidations orders. This bot is very powerful, but you need to update it often to the market, and I've played around with octane, which is very beta at the moment. This bot focus on neural network

I stopped doing manual trades, it takes to much attention and focus away from me. + I do not have the hearth for it.. I need clear rules. And I need to know upfront how much I'm risking per trade also. That way I can get my beautysleep at night ๐
Using ATR indicator can help me calulating how much I should spend on a coin. A high ATR means a volatile coin, so these coins should have lower initials than the low volatile coins. Doing it this way will even out the risk between the different volatility coins

LuxAlgo used to have something similar for MT5. It has been discontinued since. I am not into software developing so I don't know much details. I am a good user and a beta tester so I can quickly learn how things work ๐

Correct, to a certain extent. If you have your own strategy script, then you can use input.source to select Oscillator Matrix's "Custom Condition Highlight". You then need to load the Oscillator Matrix twice and set the first to trigger the custom condition for bullish and the 2nd you set the custom condition for bearish. PAC and S&O don't have this Custom Condition Highlight option. No idea if it is possible to load three scripts into one strategy alert, i have only tested it briefly.

Although the alert creator in PAC is excellent, its trigger is not selectable as a source in another script. In my screenshots you can see that i have loaded my own script (adjusted to accept external sources for entering trades) + PAC is loaded. When selecting the external source, you can see that there is no option to select a PAC alert condition from the pull down menu. Sure, like you said, it is possible to use webhooks directly in LuxAlgo, but my own script has a lot more features to determine additional pyramiding, take profit and stop loss moments etc etc.
