Opining Candle is very tricky, and too volatile, but good to spot the divergence. you have to look at the relationship between other index like RTY, NQ, and ES to see how the divergence looks like. I beleive Lux algo do have an indicator to display the divergence.

As long as the market had sufficient volume and is a liquid market it doesn't matter as you can adapt it to catch some of those "trend waves"...You just need to ensure you are not inside a very small bracket or range and prefer to be involved with that HTF impulsive wave and just looking for aligned retracements from the smaller time frame to match the HTF keeping it simple...

I would suggest do not trade in last 20-30 before market closes due to MOC imbalance. If your risk management is not good, you may win or loose big. Yes, the R/R is good, but do not fight the market, there is another day to trade. Save your money. Don't try to run home run in a day. Slow and steady wins the race. If you keep compounding with small profit daily, you will see your account growing on ca consistent basis. This is my one cent advice to new traders

Well, each signal we need to evaluate and validate if we have a high probability in that direction, to be honest....What I do is focus on the actual indicators, such as the Smart Trail you have. That last short signal occurred pretty far into that bearish smart trail move. Id be curious to see if there where some key levels that act like strong support levels on higher TF's. Since that is a fast 5m TF, do you know what a 15m or 1H TF looks like with that template? Also try to look to the left of the chart to see if we have any exhaustive price levels? such as OB's etc. It really is how we analyze the chart, and how we zoom out

That's not a strategy, that's blindly following a single confirmation. Trading isn't that basic. Although it is basic, it requires knowledge of price and price action and needs multiple confluence

I personally make indicators myself and most are buy/sell types but still, even on those, as good as I can get them, I need extra confidence and rules to dictate which is good and which is bad and why.

And STILL then we need to understand SL and TP and exit rules and risk management

If I may, I agree that trading sessions are crucially important to crypto, different active exchange and live tradfi sessions have traditional/consistent price action and movement and/or goals, London is mostly regarded as a dump session for the most part, tokyo/asia is mostly regarded as a pump session so long as underlying news or macro bullish sentiment is there, NY/US is always regarded as a wildcard due to the amount of data that comes out weekly, news sentiment, etc… however knowing these patterns and movements are certainly (in my opinion) important as a crypto trader

Was using 1hr with 12 sensitivity but they were intraday trades, I’d rather shorter term trades to be honest

this is where we get caught. We tend to look at crypto or gold os some fast moving bursting asset so we can grab our win and go. But that comes with fast bursting trades that go against you.

This indicator in real time also has the nodes shifts depending on price action and volume. Just like your traditional volume profile......but so MUCH better in my opinion....

Just like the Premium/Discount zones in the Price Action Concepts, the highs and lows of each of those zones will shift based on most recent mid term swings

Once you learn how to utilize each of these tools, it will bring a new look to the way you see the market

I dont have my charts up, but you didnt have to wait for the exit signal. This was not really desinged for buy and exit exactly what it prints. Did price reach any TP targets? If it was massive during the actual trade, you could had closed out? Did price hit a resistance level before reversing? So many other factors that goes toward validating an entry or exit...Since this is oil, where there any other correlated asset pairs that could had affected the reversal? such as the Canadian dollar? Canadian dollar and Oil are correlated one way or another.....just some suggestions for you....

Personally, I don't believe technical analysis indicators work intraday. If they do work, it's hit and miss. Price action is what moves the market intraday.

Then perhaps Price Action is not for you. It can be tricky when starting out. With Price Action you need to understand market structure.

Watching training videos does not equal practice in market, we can watch them all, memorize them, but does us no good till good experience in the market with them and understand different looks ect...

Luckily the pro strategies section was opened up, grab 1, try for 1-2 months minimum on demo, if it works for you and you like stick to it, if not, maybe try another. That section is a gold mine in this discord

Great question, hesitation comes down to lack of confidence, gain confidence by back testing, I do atleast 1hr a day. If your confident in your strategy its now trading and not gambling and you will not hesitate to enter

I blew my accounts left and right like most of us...trying to get that nice huge win, it never worked out consistent with me, frustrated. Then one day, I decided to just grab a small tiny win, just to get it. Then I wanted another tiny win. This worked wonders for my confidence, I felt better inside and I had a different stride when I walked around. Then I just studied and still trying to perfect this, till this day. Small hard TP is what worked for me and my confidence. Rinse and repeat....
