I did a quick backtest of around that time. The TP was hit for the short signal at the 9 AM candle. However, at the 945 candle, the signal switches to long. I suspect that since the values of TP1 and SL1 change at that time, the crossing alerts are triggered. A suggestion would be for you to retrieve the TP1 and SL1 values when you get the confirmation signal alert for long or short.

Or maybe you can try crossing up into a TP for long, and crossing down into an SL for long; and vice versa for shorts. Just an idea.

Yes, this will be the problem, that the TP/SL will change immediately in case of a wrong buy/sell signal.

Is there any way you think I could make my robot automatically set the TP/SL levels either numerically or otherwise. So when my robot starts on a buy/sell signal, the TP/SL values at that moment should somehow also be automatically sent to my robot's binance futures section...

Or I don't know what the solution is, I'm sure it can be done.

There must be an error in translation somewhere. You can update the alert message to also send your robot the TP1 and SL1 values from the indicator.

I was thinking that even if I set the crossing up / crossing down condition, the same problem will occur. Because the source of the problem, as you mentioned, is that the TP/SL numbers change immediately when you get a false buy/sell signal, obviously we can't check this afterwards, but at the moment it is visible

Not there. You will use the alert for the buy and sell signal. Add those two variables in the message field of that alert.

Hi,
I have a serious problem!
In order to avoid multiple alerts on entering the same order block, I set 2 hour order blocks on the daily chart and set alert on entering both internal and swing blocks.
Unfortunately, the alerts don't go off. I got zero alerts today.
As you can see on the picture, the price entered the zone but no alert went off. What am I doing wrong?

I suspect that there is an issue with alerts and MTF order blocks. Another user reported previously that he was getting alerts when price wasn't even close to the higher time frame OBs. In your case you are reporting lower time frame alerts but I think, I am not sure, that the alert is still using the daily OBs. Perhaps @main summit, could you look into this?

Update! After market close I got a bunch of alerts that I should've gotten during the day. If I'm not mistaken, the script either checks the condition or simply just sends the alert at the end of the day.

I would set the timeframes in settings to display the higher timeframe blocks on the lower timeframe if that makes sense. Therefore you can set the alert on one chart. That shouldn’t throw it off. I have had issues with alerts in the past

I see your point but that's no remedy to my problem.
In the case you described you are gonna get flooded by alerts every time the price reenters a zone.
Considering there are 28 major and minor FX pairs, the noise you'd get even on 1h TF with 1 hour blocks can often get way too overwhelming and distracting.
My goal is to get max one alert per day per pair entering an order block. I hope it's clear why your suggestion would not resolve that!

Hi, I am trying to create an alert from luxalgo signals & overlays indicators. I am looking to pass the information dynamically into alert message. 1 option is I create separate alert for confirmation strong buy, confirmation strong sell, confirmation buy, confirmation sell, exit buy, exit sell, which results in 6 alerts per chart per symbol. But there is also an option to send signal for any confirmation which would be 1 alert for all the confirmations. But then I need to send dynamically the alert is for which direction using curly brackets {{}}. Does anyone know What is the variable name for confirmation type?

Until an Lux update is available for the TP1-SL1 issue mentioned above, my question is:

using the {{plot("TP1")}} and {{plot("SL1")}} commands, I get an Any Confirmation Buy, Any Confirmation Sell signal at a closed candle, is there a way to automatically pass these values to my robot?

Or set some kind of next signal for the values extracted and received, so that if the price currently reaches that level it will give a signal?

I ask all this because I found out earlier that the TV and LuxAlgo are interfering at a certain point, but with this solution I could avoid this problem…

Hi Guys from Lux Algo. After many months trading my real account using your Indicators, I am well satisfied. So far so good. However, what I do not find useful are the Buy/Sell signals for intraday trading. I do say this for any timeframe I can use (1m....15m) Example is 2m.

Whats confusing for me is that the orderblock amount varies as per the timeframe. for example, on 15 min chart, the order block amount below the price is higher and in the 1 hr time frame, orderblock amount is lower and its higher above the price.
How do I know way the price is gonna move? Is it gonna follow the 15 min chart orderblock and go lower, or follow the 1hr chart and go higher since the orderblock amount is higher above the price.

the order blocks are important for higher timeframes but i would say the timeframe you trade on you should consider those order blocks but mark up zones on higher time frame

for example, there's something called a scale factor in HTF analysis, and the scale should be at least above 3 so if you're trading on 15 mins you need to create your zones on 45 min+

1 hour trading timeframe, mark up zones on 4 hours etc.

you can see the bullish pressure from the wicks

the order block has confluence with the FVG

if you put a trade in for this you would target the mid resistance zone

and then move SL to half of the profit you are on

because you can target the premium just above the resistance

the trend is bullish on 4 hour

shown by the trendline

make your judgement based on this info because i haven't even backtested this enough
