If it doesn’t display the colors, then save it, close TV, open it and copy again, now you will have 2 premiums, delete the older one, atleast it worked for me on several occasions

Lot of money but for a lifetime subscription you’d save tons of $$$ later. I absolutely love Lux Algo and got the premium. Does anyone know how to read/interpret the green/red wicks on the candle bodies? So in an uptrend candle bodies are green. Downtrend candle bodies are red. Purple signifies a potential change. But even in the red/green trends, various candle wicks are red/green

Bc lux have tens of different indicators

My goal is to figure out when I can open a position in the right direction. But short of that i would like to understand what things mean, like these yellow arrows i drew pointing to the light white shaded areas. I can't figure out what they mean and what their significance is to determining price action.

Is there going to be a patch of any kind that eliminates the compression issue with price action concepts? Or does anyone know how to fix this?

Yeah click onto premium and the top line presets/filters will have a setting on, or you have a check box clicked under indicator overlay that says reversal zones

So when you say the gray shaded boxes are liquidity in the market, what does that mean

A lot of buy/sell orders?

Like the top gray box, does that mean there are a lot of short orders open in that area, or that that area is likely to have stoplosses

It shows you buy vs sell at each block if I’m reading this right

Not sure if it gives values, but you can turn on red and green and the shaded areas are different based upon orders I imagine

If you wanted to go long, you would expect some type of opposing pressure (sellers) around this gray box. Agree?

So you wouldn’t want to go long until you close above that in theory

The gray shaded boxes are called order blocks, the indicator is marking these area as significant support and resistance, the % number in the box refers to the strength, the higher the number the higher the strength of the support or resistance.

This is subjective as it depends on many things, market conditions, how you trade, etc etc. that's why I recommend reading through the materials provided and tailoring the use of the tools to your trading needs.

If the direction is up you start in the lowest left part of the trend (point 1) and go to the highest right part, but don't put your point there. You want to back up and put your point halfway in between (point 2)

Settings are of personal choice bro, different settings work for different instruments. You will need to find what works best for you. Might be challenging in the beginning once you get hang of it you will continue to use

The candle you have selected is the 10 PM candle, meaning it opens at 10 PM and closes at 1030. Signals are generated throughout the candle and confirmed by candle close, so I would say the alert is late by 11 minutes and not 41. Why don't you try Once Per Bar Close instead? Let's see if that will make a difference.

I have tried the Once per Minute setting before, which gives me the signal early, BUT, the signal may not be confirmed as many things can happen throughout the time of the bar, which in this case is 30 minutes. I am struggling to simplify economics based trading using the premium indicators at the moment. Here is what I do mostly on my own:

• let the price drop under TRAMA
• wait for the first EQL to be formed (personal preference as an indication of market intent)
• let the put-call ratio relatively stabilize once it starts increasing while waiting for a demand zone creation
• I also generally wait for drop-base-rally and rally-base-rally shapes to be created, but it is the case almost every single time
• get in

I can do this by using 5 indicators and get exactly what I want.

If this is possible in one indicator, it becomes the best indicator for anyone who fundamentally understands how wave riding happens.

You can call this preset "LongMoon-StocksForexCommodityOnly" based on the availability of derivatives data or something. I personally avoid shorting to make money.

That is a proposal. It appears be 100% consistent with what is actually happening out there in the real world.

That is one way to think about it.

I generally avoid the terms patterns from my trading. Just too overloaded.

I try to stick to economics. My 2 problems are enough money to 10x (in parallel) and scaling out my approach to 500 stocks that are primed for entry

Somebody made an observation back in the history some day, and called them EQH and EQL. Then, they associated those observations with a given way price is moving.

Those movements appeared to be consistently happening. So, they became a thing. Also, it is an easy way of reminding what to "also" look for

It is also rooted in common sense. If you try to push the floor and if the floor doesn't move, then it is a good floor. What happens after that is supply and demand. The increased buying and selling translates in the rise and decline in ticker prices.

Finally, it is a not a hard rule. That is a recipe for disaster. That is why the term "trade confluences" and not "trade confluence" exists.

no price is too low for a bear and no price is too high for a bull

So, get your confluences in order, make the trade, get your share, and get out.

It all depends on your appetite. Try experimenting with top 4 selections of yours, check the alert quality if it makes sense. Set in stone what works. "Major" might be too late for some. "Minor" might be too early for some. That, in itself, would change based on the timeframe.

It is typically treated as one of the many confluences. Alert is not the most ideal way to think about it as the creation of bars at different timeframes matters equally if not more.

you do not have to trade 50% of your portfolio, you have to reduce the amount of trades and learn to find the best trade. Stick with 1:3 or something like that.

A good trade moves your portfolio by a number that makes you happy. Do not look for more happiness. That becomes greed.

When it is a good trade, you will feel like re-entering since everything would make so much sense. But just move on and look for another setup.

for less experienced, even 1:2 or 1:1 is fine. It is not the trade quality that you do not trust, it is your own conviction and greed and one has to work on over time.

For the order block displayed they will have a total of 100% - each order block will have its own % rating and this is the strength of that order block for example how it will behave as support or resistance, higher the number the stronger the support or resistance will be

I was able to put a 1 to 4 R:R on a lot of the trades and hit and TP and some of them would have run even further. The Lux buy sell signals gives false signals at times as I’m sure you know but the EMA cross helped weed them out quite a bit

I was also noticing the last couple days even without confluence those sell signals on gold would have got some big runners

Yes confirmation. I’ve only been on Lux for like a week so I haven’t had a ton of research time but I’m trying to clean up my chart and eliminate the brain clutter while also creating confluence of signals. Just messing with different ideas to see what happens. I should go back further testing.
