Howdy all 👋. New member here. Love the LuxAlgo premium indicators and still trying to work them out. My question is….the Optibot (5, 15 etc) in this discord. Do you guys change your Premium indicator settings on each currency pair according to these ? Or leave them as default or auto sensitivity ?

Each pair has its own OPTIBOT settings because that is what the bot determined to be the best settings for that pair. I did some back testing this weekend and found that most of the time the autopilot setting on signal sensitivity provided a similar confirmation signal rate but the signals from the bot settings were more often a trade that matched the rules I have in place.
Keep in mind, when you change to a different pair on any given chart in trading view the indicators do not change. So if you have custom settings per pair you will need to save a chart for each pair, or adjust settings everytime you change pairs.

I may not understand what it is that you are asking for. Are you looking for examples of using the bot settings in live trading scenario? If so, I don’t have that yet I am still using demo accounts and have not yet picked the pairs that I will be using once I go live. After having been turned on to the JAV_M strategy yesterday it looks like I will probably be switching to gold as my primary pair.
If you are implying that back testing will not render the same results as live trading with the OPTi bot settings, I think I understand what you are getting after. I try to do my back testing as realistically as possible to reflect what it will look like when I trade with a live account. I try to ignore, any knowledge of what I know is coming and replay it with strict rules so then I don’t cheat myself and burn my account when I do go live.

The 1st two are LUX premium indicator and Envelope shows the trend movement until where the trend could take you while you can even buy or sell even before the choch confirmation.. Estimator is early confirmation where the trend could reversed opposite direction and for the oscillator from #👴legacy-indicators is amazing coz it tells you the oversold and overbought market conditions while the last one I just added couple of hours ago just for testing Purpose 🫠🙂

I have a question on backtesting - Normally using the TV replay mode, I will always take all trades. But I know I will not be awake for 24 hours so I cannot take all trades. How do people backtest this situation? Do you only backtest trades during the time you know you will be available? I have depended on auto trading bots when I sleep but have lost a lot :(. It's tells me what a Reversal Zone is, but what is it really? I'm looking at it, it's clearly some sort of moving average. Is there a way to know how it's determined? Like I know what a MACD is and how the various elements of the MACD are created mathematically. I'm curious if this is available (maybe a whitepaper or pdf or something) for the premium indicators. I know that the smaller the timeframe, the more inaccurate it will be...but just thought id ask in terms of historical strength, which one performs better in terns of fair value vs. premium zones

As I recall, the location of premium and discount zones depend on the location of the most significant swing high or low for that timeframe. You may notice that when the market is trending and the price breaks through the aforementioned swing high or low, the zones should change because the high or low has changed as well. Regarding imbalances, there is a setting you can choose on when/how an FVG or order block is mitigated.

I am using Crypto Fusion Bot to automate my trades with Lux indicators on Trading view. Example I have setup Lux to "Take any buy trade" with preset/filter of Trend Tracer, so I will only take trades that are not filtered out by TT, however when I implemented this setup, the trades were not filtered, Tradingview is firing my trades without TT filter, I went back and verified everything and settings of S and A as well to match and I also have tradermakemoney subscription so I can keep track of all trades and bots etc. plz help resolve this issue. thx

You will find that the PAC indi is probably the best out there. I've tried other ones, paid and free, and in my personal opinion PAC is by far the best.

New Trader Here - I have a simple question about orders. I understand on a long order - Market, Limit (The Most I am willing to Pay), Stop (The Minimum Price I am willing to sell)........etc. I am a bit confused in how these work in reverse when entering a Short Position. Market makes sense. How about limit, stop, and stop limit? I am utilizing trading view.

Lets say the current price of the equity is $5. I want set my entry position as $4.50. I want to enter at a price of $4.50, would that be a stop, or limit order?

I'm no expert, but I'll share my thoughts. First looks like you are attempting to trade against an established trend. That alone adds to the risk factor. To answer your immediate question on the premium zone. It has nothing to do with your short order of course. The market needs liquidity in order to move in the desired direction. It won't really do so until it has enough. The premium zone will continue to adjust to the price moving higher until there is exhaustion. My advice would be first not to trade against the trend. Second, if you are gonna do so. Wait for a strong signal in your favor. That first bearish candle would've been a good one. I hope this makes sense. Good luck!.

First of all I don’t recommend trading against the trend. But If you want to, I would wait until resistance is formed up there with multiple rejections and rsi divergence and then a break of support with a retest of support in confluence with closing below a 20/50 MA.

PDA is fib based and should be used on a higher timeframe to mark out your areas of interest. They tend to not work well under 15 minute timeframes.
