They are not fake, but not giving full picture. I have been running an automated strategy for 3 months with 80% win-rate according to TradingView. However it's taking hits on the first of 3 take profits as a win, which technically it is, but it's not the full win. Getting 80% on anything above a 1:1 risk to reward ration is difficult however, and in both long and short at the same time.

I'm currently using reversal zones and trend catcher across multiple timeframes. I use the B/S signal as confluence with them but not as the actual point of getting in. Like here, there is a buy signal and then it bounces in and out of the reversal zone. I may go in on the bounce or I will wait for trend catcher to turn green. Depends on what other timeframes are telling me. If they are bullish, I will go in on the bounce, if they are bearish, I will wait for the TC to catch up.

Set alert at higher time frame OB. Wait for a sell or buy OB to hit and then wait for choch on a smaller time frame. Wait for a sweep of that trend caused by choch and enter after the sweep. Shouldn’t break the lowest/highest point of recent price action that rejected out of the OB

I think the most important thing is learning SMC or any of the strategies that the indicator has mark ups for. Example order blocks or supply/demand zone. The indicator only marks up POI for you. Then you have to be able to use your knowledge on gathering your confirmations for entry

I’m a big order block trader and the indicator basically makes my life easier by not having to mark up the charts all the time. I would not count on just the indicator for my entries

My honest opinion, try to use and learn Lux Algo Premium, before you dive into Price Action Concepts. This way, the Lux Premium can guide you into entering trades with different colors and trending visuals on the chart. Much easier than bare price action of candle bars and levels. Then once your are comfortable with Lux Premium, then add the PAC as an overlay to your Lux Premium......AND leave crypto for now, until you learn how crypto moves in pumps and dumps for no reason....🤷🏻‍♂️

My personal opinion is that on a higher TF, it can only go down. The major pump was hype (IMHO), especially when the public ('regular guy') started getting into it. Today it's hardly a used currency, and I feel that more of the 'regular guy' will start selling their HODLs because they have to pay bills. Speaking of the 'regular guy': faith in crypto is strongly diminished when something like FTX happens, where someone will snatch a couple of billion, only adding to the reasoning of the big institutions (central and local banks) that crypto is dangerous. As in any market, there will of course be market makers that will pump the price regularly, only to short it when enough are on board. I kind of see BTC like a large version of a Wallstreet Bets project. I'm not into trading crypto, but if you consider it BEAR, then I would only sell when the charts tell me there's an option to do so.

Quick question - if I'm trying to trade and use TrendCatcher as a signal to exit a trade.......how do you guys deal with TC jumping from green to red live - because quite often it'll dynamically change from green to red for example - and back to green because price oscilates at that point. Now - if let's say your exit sign for a strategy is to exit a long position as soon as TC turns red - when do you take TC to have turned red? Do you consider first instance - or change - from green to red - even if it goes back to green after that - or do you wait for a certain amount of bars of TC being red to consider it having "turned" red?

Pull up any crypto chart on the 30 min timeframe, with the lux Algo premium only no extras. I do midterm trends, whenever there is a strong or not buy or sell signal, TradingView alerts will alert after a confirmed buy or sell. In that TradingView alert, you can set up a webhook, you set that we hook up with alertatron. Alertatron takes that message from TradingView and sends it through your api from Bybit or whatever. Within milliseconds determines if it is a buy (long) or sell (short) signal. All of this is set up between TradingView and alertatron

if you have a quick look, youd see that the price already made most of the move before the signal appeared

you tactic would be more profitable and meaningful if you chose trend catcher/tracer as entries

so when those move your bot immediately enter trades. just like the profitable QQQ strategy

Guys quick question, how do you set your stop loss maintaining proper R2R?

Maybe my case is different, because I only use the Jav 5M strat for entry, and I try to trade between Pivot points. But for my calculations I use Magic Keys software in MT. I have pre-set my risk (0.5% of account), and where I place my stop-loss determines the lot size. I put my SL above (or below) some form of resistance, being a pivot, a trend line, an EMA, other significant level, whatever the price is likely to not retrace beyond. MK also shows the R/R to your target point, which in my case is another point of interest (pivot, trend, ema, etc). You can also preset pips in SL/Profit if you prefer.

I use alertatron, they have it where you can take TradingView alerts and send a signal thru api to buy or sell and take profit. The service is $30 a month at minimum, if you set it up right, you are gonna need to pay for the TradingView subscription as well to get a minimum of 20 allotted alerts. You will have to set up 4 alerts thru TradingView per trading pair, I have set up Ada, Eth, bnb and doge for mine.
