Hello there. Question on the new price indicator: the volume profile in green and red inside of the order block signifies which order is dominant regardless of the location of the order block ?

And if the order block was at the bottom of the current price and red volume gets stronger does it move automatically above the current price level ?

That means on the lead up to that OB, and the data used to calculate it; majority of volume was selling

i changes the setting at the 5min chart to 8/80/15 - and it confirmed pretty well with the smart trail

so if you take the swing after the smart trail touch - and you are not bellow or over the EMA you dont enter

at the backtest it eliminated pretty well the false swings after touching the smart trail

found a nice combo with an outside indicator called the bbwp, some may know it, if you dont in short its a volatility indicator based on the Bollinger bands but the idea is during periods of consolidation you should see the bbwp decreasing and during breakouts or continuations you should see it increasing, so with that and the "squeeze" from lux that should be increasing or high during consolidation and low during continuations. started a sim account with $500 yesterday for testing seems to be working well. dm if youd like the settings ( sorry for long post )

If you don’t know much about support and resistance I recommend learning more about it, those are the levels where u take the best entries and exits (including buy and sell signals) for best performance!

It is all dependent on what kind of trader you are, day trader, scalper, swing !

You need to have a plan when u take a trade, You need to get in the market already knowing where to put your levels , at least ur SL , it all depends what timeframe ur trading ,risk/size, ect ,

I don’t think anyone here can exactly tell you where to put your SL and TP , its something you will learn to do overtime/experience.

Anytime while the bar is forming is fair game, but after it closes I would expect to be able to use the information to make a trade. Otherwise, it messes up any kind of trading review for the day. Otherwise you are trading ghosts. End of day, week, month review has no meaning if the reason you took the trade has disappeared. A little confusing IMO. There are many ways to resolve the issue by changing the color and/or transparency of an area if it is no longer relevant, but the reason for the trade needs to remain on the chart.

I created a strategy using Luxalgo Premium. I need to improve it but currently i can’t find why…
If you have ideas i will take it.
The strategy works throught time but, the strategy wins a lot when trending market and loose (average 20-30%) when it’s in ranging market. What can i add to filter ranging market ?

TF to use : H1
Sensitivity : autopilot (short term)
Trend catcher + trend tracer
Leverage X3.

For LONG ENTRIES :
Well, to enter in position long, i need to have a trend catcher green + trend tracer green + a buy or strong buy signal.
Stop loss : stop below the previous swing low.
Close condition : the trend catcher is red.

For SHORT ENTRIES (the opposite)
Well, to enter in position short, i need to have a trend catcher red + trend tracer red + a sell or strong sell signal.
Stop loss : stop above the previous swing high.
Close condition : the trend catcher is green.

I backtest this strat on crypto currency : TRX from january first to 5 november. below the screenshot of my backtesting

you need to watch the youtube to learn more how the indicators are useful, there are a lot of trading strategy.

Just pick what's fit to your personality

You can trade to 4hrs, hold it for more 3 to 5 days. Or trade in 15 to 30 mins, trade scalping and use the indicators

You can combine, Trend catcher + Reversal zone + EQ Cloud + Choch+ to have good entry

I use Trend Cather green + Confirmation to buy + Green or Violet Candle + Choch+ to entry and add some leverage then take profit in small time frame

1 min chart trades are either high frequency with meh rr, or ur setup is kinda like a sniper entry

unless u can do macro while trading, it's really difficult to pull off properly
