all you have to do is pick the simplest strategy on TV, one that uses as few indicators as possible, save a copy and then start playing with it, once you understand the use of indicators within a strategy. even more helpful is the PineScript documentation for further implementation.

as for trying to use paid indicators in a strategy of your own, not sure you will be able to achieve that

it would beat the purpose of being a paid indicator if you can use its code, innit? 🙂

optibot is a feature that works per asset and per timeframe

you are the one that needs to fit in the value based on the asset you trade and the timeframe used to trade it

so if you trade the 1HR TF, you go here: #797529997731561522

and you look for your asset in that channel. within the most recent post

as far as I remember, they are posted around the same time, every day

so just place a reminder in your trading calendar and that's it

p.s. not all assets are featured within the optibot

those are subject to majority's consensus. but now and then some assets are indeed very sought, and our Lux guys will add them if needed

if you really understood the signals by then, you should already know you are not supposed to trade them, instead use them as a "GET READY to trade" indicators

as for backtesting versus forward testing concerns, Lux does not repaint, mate

how you are interpreting the signals, though, it's up to you. a bit of advice: pick a period in the past and just jump to it, without looking at the charts in between, until then

then use the replay and try to make your decisions

it's the only way to find out if you would've used the signals right or not

It really depends what you’re comfortable with man. My main suggestion is manage your trade with a tight stop losss. You can wreck a whole account if a trade goes violently against you and you don’t have a stop loss in place

If you haven’t done futures before I highly suggest getting a demo account somewhere before going in and using real money. Just to get a feel for it

i get what you mean, you easily lose sight of the "bigger picture" aka larger tf (15min,1Hr) for me. So i switch in and out from the 1 hr, 15, & 3min or 1 Min for entry for scalp or day trade style of trading. This is solely my style of trading.

Incase anyone is wondering ..backtesting different strategies gives you the same level of excitement when a trade goes your way and it also gives you confidence and knowledge when it doesn’t .. I don’t know if it’s just me but I could back test for weeks 😂😂🤣

You’ve got to backtest at least one to two months worth of price action. Stick to a strategy and you’ll see it play out on several assets. You won’t win them all but you’ll have more W’s than L’s
