Nah it's ok; the issue is when there's no context; QQQ for example has details about what his strategy is.
When things are posted with no context it's hard for us to validate what is real and what's not. And it encourages people to DM which of course can allow people to have motives to sell things

So a line going up needs some detailed context if possible 😎

Because in most of the times here, people are asking about 1-5 min TF, and that's something that rarely works with signals. Because while your chart can tell you bullish move, the top down analysis can show you a major downtrend.

I have just read all the messages in the past hours and I would like to say that today all signals on the 5 minutes TF worked properly, with 1-2-3% profit on each action. IMHO, try charting with a 2 chart layout, side by side. I prefer the combo of H4 and m15. I check price structure on H4 and do sniper entry on m15. Check on price premium and discount (sell on premium and buy on discount). Try to avoid buying when price is near premium and try to avoid selling when price is in discount. Always wait for price candle to be closed before making a new trade. Do not chase price, try to wait and come to your price level bias. Avoid FOMO. For swing trade (which I always prefer) use H4, and for intraday then use m15. Again, this is just my personal opinion. Check this, it may help you. #💱forex-chat message

@thin trail i have a two part question -first, is there one key factor that trips the tracer and/or catcher to start them moving upwards? I have a few indicators that cover all the common basis like cloud, ema, macd, etc and they can all be saying “go” but the catcher or tracer lines will still sit there going straight across (though green) and then all of a sudden will start to rise. I can’t figure out what part of analysis is making it finally shift and start to move upwards….particularly the trend catcher as that one seems a bit harder to get moving. Any insight?

And second - related - is there any way to get an alert to go off when these start to rise and do more than just be green? I see in the settings the filter option to choose “up” for catcher and tracer, but it also forces us to choose a buy condition (or “any” buy condition), which from my understanding it has to have the exact candle that has the “buy/strong,etc” words under it when they move up to alert. I don’t care about that…i just want to know when they go from moving sideways to moving upwards.
Basically just a (catcher > catcher[1] and tracer > tracer[1]) type alert if we were talking in pine script.

I switched it to confirmatory and adjusted the RSI to Daytrader settings. Let’s say I am on 5M timeframe, Trend Catcher terns RED, and Trend Tracer is still GREEN, but I get a STRONG BUY or SELL signal, is it advisable to enter into trade? How does these 2 work in confluence. Should we always wait for both to either turn RED or GREEN?

How do the confirmation or fail correlate to the algo. Seems like entry point is right before a pivot happens but I don't understand the check and x besides just fail or confirm

So I dont focus on the check or the cross mark. I only focus on the color changes when the trend changes. I also dont use it solely, I combine it with the algo signals. I like the fact that it shows clean red or green colors based on trend. I trend trade hence like it a lot.

in this chart, it gave the 1st buy signal but there was no sell signal. Then again during premarket it gave another buy signal and then a sell signal.

If you are NOT sitting in front of your screen trading and using a bot instead and will not be checking on your trades as often probably autopilot as it will optimize the signal for you but if you are sitting in front of the screen actively trading then I would use Optibot.

yep, they are good reference points for getting in and out, I use UMACD and URSI in confluence to the buy/sell signals and the price being or above at VWAP, the only thing missing is the squeeze index, waiting for that update on the premium side,, that in my opinion will change the way we trade drastically for the better.

However I trade at 1M TF and I understand its not everyone's favourite, but so far the algo's have been amazing combined with TA.

yep, we have talked about our strategies, they are very similar, I am waiting for the lux squeeze indicator as well, it just cuts out the BS of false breakouts and bull traps, great in discerning to stay in or bailout.
