Yes it's normal, in high time-frames it is harder to spot orders of more informed investors, everything is more heterogeneous.

Using lower tf is the best way to see them more frequently, however too low tf like 1min might return more false positives, best to stick with 15/30/hourly tf

piggy backing onto this conversation, I have found the advanced oscillator to be pretty awesome with the RSI "30 candles" strat, have opened trades on major buy/sell signals, but have also opened and closed trades on bullish/bearish divergence in the advanced oscillator. I'm finidng pretty good entries, and about 60-65% win rate with Eth and will test on other coins. Would love to see another video on this topic, and looking for other confluence with this oscillator/strat, but loving it so far. Great work Gecko.

They do not appear in your invite only scripts at all even after refreshing? Have you tried adding them from the indicator library directly ?

Simply search the indicators there and add them to your chart, if you have access it should work

The Trend Catcher alerts almost 1HR later; using a 30 minute chart. For e.g if Trend Catcher turns green/red at 16:30, it sends alert 17:30.
Setting: Once per bar close

Shouldn't the Trend Catcher be alerting immediately when it changes color after the candle close or should it alert 30m later on the next candle if the chart is on a 30m TF?

The alert was working fine more than a week back. This alert setting was freshly created and it's delaying by 30m - 1h.

you gotta find which way works best for you. I can tell you what I do, which is in NOT financial advice. I like the use the 4hr, 1hr, 30min, 15min and 5 min chart. for day trading I stick to 5 and 15 but I only use smaller amount as a way to manage risk. I use the 4hr to spot trends and the 1hr to make my big trades. I like the advanced and rsi. I always have reversal zones turned on. for my big trades, I wait till I have a buy signal on the reg, advanced and rsi close to 30 (preferably under) at roughly the same time and as close to support. if all those happen and the price is near resistance I might still go for it or I might wait, depends on the market conditions. basically homie, you just gotta find what works for you. I don't think there's 1 set strat or else we'd all be Scrooge McDuck's by now

that's what I thought as well! basically I completely disregard the stop loss in the 3commas platform. it's useless in the case. so for every coin I create 6 alerts. for longs I have my "close deal" be both the exit buy signal AND a confirmation sell. and for shorts I have the exit sell and the confirmation buy as my "close deal". it's kinda like an adaptive stop loss that really doesn't go below 2% and alot of the time it ends up making me profit with the short bots. and the long bots when that happens my "adaptive stop loss" really only loses me 0-1.5%

the white line is the zero baseline, which acts as resistance or support. Price action typically goes 1,000 up and 1,000 down before reversing, see the numbers on the far right. The lines in between can be S/R and take profit/sell areas

up top is the Lux multi time frame RSI, you can see how responsive it is when PA hits the 1,000 mark

using this in combination with Lux premium and Lux Oscillators is off the chain

IMO, there is no way to tell if OB is bullish or bearish as it is, see below -

Order block is considered a market behavior that indicates the pile-up of orders from banks and institutions. The central banks and financial institutions mainly drive the forex market. Hence, traders should know what they are supposed to do. The market starts ranging while building the order block, and most of the investing decisions take place at that time.

While knowing the OB is to your advantage, focus also on Bearish / Bullish mitigated block or Bullish / Bearish Breaker Block

Comparison between a breaker and mitigation block
A breaker forms a higher high, while a mitigation block forms a lower high. When these unfold, we are looking for trading opportunities in the market. A breaker will collect buy-side liquidity on the previous high creating a new higher high, while a breaker will fail to collect buy-side liquidity forming higher lows.

Meaning a mitigation block is a result of a failure swing. In comparison, a breaker results from a successful swing in the market. Image below is a good example of Bullish mitigated block followed by Bearish Breaker Block.

Just be patient for confirmation to be formed before making a trade.

I highly suggest, print or make a good example of mitigated block or breaker (in bullish and bearish form) then print it out and always keep at your side when you are doing TA or charting. In that way, you will have a great guide always. Lux SR and Patterns Premium already automates most of what you need, you just need to decipher all those objects created on your chart

Hi, has anyone manually backtested the lux algo premium on different timeframes to find the best settings for automated trading (using 3commas for example)? I have looked at the trend tracer filter and that looks great on 5m and 1h timeframes (using autopilot) and that dramatically outperforms just using the normal buy/sell signals on their own. However, it would be great if someone has already backtested how this would perform on ETH or BTC on different timeframes just using the buy/sell signals as they are with the trend tracer filter on autopilot. Well I don’t short at all, so looking at the chart it’s obviously in strong sell mode that would be my first cue to be cautious and I use VWAP for entries I am pretty sure it’ll be way below that which indicates it’s a weak stock to buy also the volume and price action comes into play, so most probably I’ll be running away from it

In 2 stock indices (PH and HK), I just trade blue chips, especially now that price is quite attractive due to sell off during pandemic and with continued $ strength. But with rising interest rates, this will give an opportunity for hot money flow into emerging market again. I rely mostly on book value and price to book value ratio, but of course looking also chart with Lux Algo for my technical aspect.

Hi Everyone, I just worked out how to send the TP/SL levels in a message to whatever execution system you might be using and thought it would be useful to post here in case anyone else is having the same issue, the correct syntax is: TP={{plot("TP1")}} SL={{plot("SL1")}}.

I also learned that to send the qty of asset that you wish to execute you send q=1 for say 1 ETH but Im not sure if its possible to send the dollar value that you might want to execute, e.g. long V=500 (meaning buy 500 USD worth of whatever asset)

Hi, has anyone manually backtested the lux algo premium on different timeframes to find the best settings for automated trading (using 3commas for example)? I have looked at the trend tracer filter and that looks great on 5m and 1h timeframes (using autopilot) and that dramatically outperforms just using the normal buy/sell signals on their own. However, it would be great if someone has already backtested how this would perform on ETH or BTC on different timeframes just using the buy/sell signals as they are with the trend tracer filter on autopilot or with custom TP/SL settings, either or would be great. built my own software using a 3C wrapper in Python

what I can tell you is that a long term solution that works like a charm is the RSI strategy on the 4hrs TF

it uses URSI and Advanced Oscillator

you can find it on the Algo's YTB channel

if you a shorter only (like me), you start your bot when you have an advanced major sell (I short 80-100%) and buy back to hold when advanced major buy appears

or viceversa if you only use DCA long bots

same strategy works well on the 5min TF is the choice of coin is right

one that I've tested with good results in a bear market is AVAX

for a bullish one, ATOM by far the best

Is there a way to setup alerts for just TC and TT? Everything i see in settings indicate also needing some buy signal. From my understanding, in this image it wouldn’t trigger because when the buy alert occurred the trend tracker was still red - so even if it turned green a candle or two later it wouldn’t trigger an alert because it wasn’t on the same candle as the buy alert. There is an individual alert available for each, but i can’t figure out how to set an alert for both to be required.

And then "alt+a"

So when the trend catcher and the trend tracer are red, if there is a any confirmation signal it will trigger the alarm

Then you go to the chart and you check where the price is
