Hey everyone! I’m currently working on a 100K Apex Challenge and I’d love to get some feedback on my strategy using LuxAlgo. I’m trading MGC (Micro Gold) and MNQ (Micro Nasdaq) during the European and US sessions (09:00 - 18:00 CET).
My Strategy & Setup:
Timeframes: 30m for Trend (EMA 50), 15m for S/R Zones & Order Blocks, and 5m for Entries.
Indicators: LuxAlgo Premium (Confirmation Mode, Sensitivity: 12-15) + Price Action Concepts.
Execution (NinjaTrader ATM):
MGC: 3 contracts, 30 tick SL / 60 tick TP. Auto Break-even at +40 ticks.
MNQ: 4 contracts (Scaling out). Target 1: 3 contracts at +30 pts. Target 2: 1 contract at +60 pts. SL: 20 pts. Auto Break-even at +20 pts.
Risk Rules: Daily stop at -$600 (Safe) / -$1,000 (Turbo). Max 2 full losses per day.
My Question:
Does this approach seem well-balanced for the Apex trailing drawdown? Specifically, for MNQ, do you recommend adjusting the Signal Sensitivity during the NY Open (15:30 CET) to avoid noise, or is 12-15 a "sweet spot" for 5m entries?

I’m not an expert on the indicators, so I’ll let someone else chime in. However, a 600$ DDL is quite high, considering the TDL on the 100k is 3k from my memory.
400-500 is probably more reasonable, as it gives you a few extra days in case something goes completely wrong, which happens more often than we’d like to admit.
Can someone chime in on the strategy?

Your best bet is @surreal dust , as he posts impressive profits with a very high win rate.

Of course this is just off of what he posts, not all that we know. But he posts it often enough to suggest high WL and PF.

UNH just had a 20%+ flush on real news (weaker 2026 revenue, Medicare/CMS pressure), now trading in the “discount” zone of the recent range and extremely oversold on intraday/Lux indicators.

1‑hour trend is still firmly down: series of lower highs, big gap from ~350, price sitting well below the 50/200‑day and under prior support, so any bounce is a counter‑trend move, not a confirmed reversal yet. Today’s low around 280–282 is the first attempt at a base; a clean break below that would likely mean further repricing rather than a V‑shaped recovery.

Levels I’m using

Stop region: 279–282 (if this floor fails, I’m out).
​First target: 304–310 (fills initial imbalance / FVG and tags first resistance; good spot to trim and move stop to ~breakeven).
​Best‑case target: 325–335 (major prior support/MA area and likely heavy supply zone; would exit most or all here on a short‑term swing).

Next steps
No averaging down into today’s flush; I’m holding existing size only.
Stop‑market just under 281.

10 second timeframe on a healthcare stock? I have seen it all. Just focusing on Macro, news all looks bad, weak 2026 forecast, I would have probably been looking the other way. Short sellers galore with this volume. Sometimes price isnt at a discount, its not a grocery store its something complletely seperate. I dont see a 50% discount here at 630$ to now 281$. The daily chart looks rough. UNH is a strong company that has been around since the dinosaurs. I doubt it will "die" but I think i'd definitely need some sort of non bleak, insider buying, its too risky now with the bad press and PR. Thats completely different of course than your technical analysis.
