Looking at mgc on lux and it appears to me that when the settings are at 17, a signal gets painted, and we are very close or in a reversal zone this gives the highest probability of success. if there a way to create this signal directly or change it to only paint when those conditions are true?

I have programmed a huge variety of indicators for trading view and you can most certainly measure percentage from a zone. the bot cannot set a condition as x amount distance from the zone based on percentages or price difference. It also cannot count the number of candles from a zone. As well as a variety of other things that can be done directly in trading view. I just wanted to string confluence from the indicator to signal whne this this and this is true.

The backtest it eventually created was not even for my given strategy

I have been a customer a while back. There is only so many painted overlays on the indicator. I dont think reading the man pages will change that the bot doesnt understand how to correlate a painted signal to a reversal zone proximity. lol. I can do it manually I just wanted to simplify my charts and decrease the noise
