idk if I did the right thing here or if anyone cares to give their input it certainly feels like I didn't even though it never would have hit my tp. I was short copper this morning it was much weaker than gold even though gold was being a bullish machine. Everything was screaming weaker copper especially if (in my head) gold rush was the only thing keeping copper afloat. I held onto the short for 2 hours and 40 minutes through 31 ticks of dd, and it finally started moving my direction twice but then wicked back up twice. There was finally a push down and then suddenly a surge of buying came in and became uncomfortable failing downwards 3 times in an hour so I took a 8 tick loss. After the candle I exited it shot downwards towards my tp, not hitting it but going several hundred dollars in profit. This all while gold is pumping upwards making me unsure about the short. Did I have the right idea exiting early? or was I stupid?

Hi, I am scalping (or short term trading) XAUUSD mainly on the 5 Min and 1 Min charts (Tradingview) using the indications of the Oscillator Matrix and the OSC screener. Does anyone have a proven setup for me that is ideally backtested successfully incl. the various values for Money Flow Oscillator Length and Smoothness degree, Hyper Wave Length, SMA signal length, divergence sensitivity level as well as reversal frequency. Also, the necessary OSC screener options would be appreciated. If properly done I think this could be a very good trigger for entry and exit signals and a great strategy companion.
