Thank you! what keeps happening is i start with code from Lux Ai bot - the basic script code, and then goal is to improve it. And until i am super familiar with all the scripting placeholders, using the GUI is easiest for me to tinker. So i change only_scripted() to false and try to first recreate the script in the GUI. Which for some settings is easy and some you can't do, or i still am figuring out. I've had Lux for a year but really only ever used PAC on my charts with my own manual strategy. Thus not used to all the other Lux lingo and premium indicators. Been in this deep dive all week though now. Got lots of really great starts but they all just need some polishing.

I'll try those placeholders. Been using them some but will look more.

i wish there was a toggle to disable the scripting - then i could easily know what's coming from UI vs scripting. Kind of like the opposite of only_scripted().

if you type "//" in front of each script line, the system will know to disable that line.
So you can type"//" for all your script lines.
Then you dont have to delete your script if you want to use again.

LuxAlgo Ultimate RSI indicator, remove the ultimate RSI line, leave only the signal line, smooth at 4 with TMA. Set low boundary at 10, high boundary at 90. Watch TSLA/TSLL, MVDA/NVDL, AMAD/AMDL, any high volatility stock using 15 min candles. If any stock hits or crosses below the 10 lower boundary, watch for call entry. Above 90, watch for put entry. Look at short duration call/put entries. Good chance of success using this method. If you need more trade opportunities, look at 10 or 12 min candles.
