An unbiased opinion, Asia is incredibly structured if you know what to look for. London often sets up NY session trades, and PM session often reverses the NY move if the objective has been met.
Therefore, every session has logic. If your strategy or schedule lines up with it.

TLDR, no liquidity does not mean no logic, strategy, or opportunity.
Always the trader, never the market.

I look at bias, for example Gold is long.
I go into the 5min. Where is price where is vwap.
I look at 9-20 ema's.
wait for it to cross bearish and touch vwap (like it did at 3am)
see how it moves around the VWAP, usually touch and continue, atleast that's what I hoped for in this trade.
It touched VWAP at 4am. (Check 1 complete)
Wait for the EMAs to cross bullish now on the 5min, if I'm really greedy I wait for emas to cross on 1min, or I predict when ema's would cross.
use that as my last confluence to go long at 4:20 (nice)
