Ok up 2500 for the day on the apex eval. Taking the finger off the trigger. And recalculating the trailing stop loss.

This is why I love 15 min FVGs they take at least 45-60 mins to form. They are easy to find and they give us a position to widen the stop loss and let the trade play out. I like use 30 and 60 min FVG but I gotta say them 15m joints are my jam.

The 15min+ FVG HAS to be created by an impulse move. That’s a good trampoline for DCA entry. Especially if there is vwap and the auction is active. I’m also looking at volume profiles etc….but what I want is a trampoline. Small FVG don’t do that. Larger than 30 min FVG takes to long to form. Entry on fib levels exit on fib extension. Public transpo for NQ.

Those FVG formed in RTH are not the same as early Asian session. They tend to be more reactive. Like sensei says give me just enough tick juice to get out. I’m not swinging for the parks. I want to snatch 1500 to 2500 per day per account and capitalize on NQ’s raucous behavior. Humans programmed the algos . Based on what is what I am asking myself…. Then I realized the fib lines are like public transpo.

Thinking that signal on one hour to confirm the trade on 20min and basically you could take a trade every time the catcher change color on 20 min in the direction of the signal. This is an interesting phenomena that has happened twice over the last two days in premarket. Price is driven up and forms OB that get sliced thru….with very little resistance…even though they are formed on a HTF (5min OB) this is why I requested a feature that would display the timeframe on the OB. Often these HTF structures behave different based on volume associated with time of day.

Here is the TPO on the 15m. Valid FVGs and OB for reversals during for this market are formed in RTH. Look at the difference in Volume. A Low Volume Node (FVG) formed in a High volume session is more likely to reject. PAC shows us approximate numbers but it’s up to us to correlate strength.

And don’t get me wrong I love trading Asian sessions. It’s just RtH volume has established a 2 day pattern of negating ETH gains.

30 ticks is the take for each trade. You can learn about the indicators in Mickey's classes. Study CME futures. You can work with micro and mini contracts. You can also work with your own money or a trader funding company. But the first step is to have a trading plan. Keep in mind that trading is a profession.

Yeah here is the thing: in order to deal with NQ minis, and volatility I’m doing trampoline (price reversion trades) so I want a wide stop to let the trade breath. Once the trade moves into profit there is a break even function in bookmap that engages. So I set my stops at fib levels etc but the idea of having a fixed number stop sucks because sometimes with momentum etc the invalidation is not 20 ticks away.

If micros are used then the price per micro sucks. I just want to DCA a few minis without it being a reason not to pay me, lol

Other days I go into profit quick and I’m like “flatten for the win”

Apex looks at the SL/TP at the time of exit. So we literally have to place the stop and take profit at a ratio that works for them before flattening.

@nocturne sigil Just by watching ONE of your videos i started to test with only 1 filter and different settings on it and it really opened my eyes! i applied the trend tracer and used setting 1, it seems to work almost perfect on my 5min timeframe. just by lowering the insanely high leverage ive been using and enter / exit as the trend tracer and just not worrying about every minor up and downswing i should be fine for now, gonna dig deeper into it and learn more in time, but now i got something to start with. There was a 61.8 fib retracement of the IB. 78.6 was also a trampoline but the sweet spot was session vwap crossing over the 61.8 zone. That is a setup that I can load up on. That looks like a bunker buster trade in hindsight…..but it takes time to recognize the trampoline without being shook about blowing the account.

It would be so clutch if we somehow had timestamps on our FVGs, or a way to categorize them by session

Also another thing I’m embracing is how wonderfully customizable S&O is. If the day is trending up and I’m looking for the trampoline I can turn off the bearish signals that can trigger temptation…again with Apex I don’t want to argue and cry victim online. Gotta calibrate everything to make sense.

Hey, did you say Renko?
This is a challenging bar type, meaning depending on your Renko bar settings, there are repainting issues due to the fact of how renko bricks are formed and confirmed, as well as how a particular charting platform handles the incoming data to form a renko bar.

With that said, it is not time based, BUT the charting timeframe does affect how granular the charts looks.
For me I always use a 1 second chart, for the renko, and the renko settings, I will use traditional, and adjust the box size
So I will have two charts, both on 1 second, and each of the charts, I will have a higher box size, and the other chart a lower box size.
Play around with it, the boz size refers to the dollar amount of the renko bar height.
So do a little bit of research on this.
This is not an easy bar to trade with, you need practice practice and then some practice

i use vps for my trades , some prop firms might have shady eval rules if you switch up ip adresses . a vps is always a set ip , its never supposed to go down its probably a lot more reliable than your home internet connection , plus you can get up to 10gps which beats out a lot more than what people brag to have in their house which at most can get up to 2gps . 10 gps is data center speed .
