But if you want to decide not just based on stiff rules (stiff rules meaning you only go for 1:2 ratios), but on the environment and movement of price, an indicator that tells you about momentum, trend or volatility might help. I often use the VWAP to determine when I can raise the ratio a little and risk more, but the PAC indicator from Lux also has a lot of functions to tell you about that. For example "Patterns". In the end, there are endless possibilities to identify a potential bigger move

yeah i've been testing last week the first 10 minutes opening range on asia, drop to 1 minute and when it breaks to either side get a pending order at the vwap for a new high or low, with 1-1 RR
