Best way to train yourself is to fix a time. 1 or 2 hours a day when market is trading , just watch and no trades. Another way to do this is once one trade is taken, win or loss stay out for 30 mins, no trade. Train your mind to to tolerate the urge to trade.

Simple breakdown of how I use it. Blue is Entry, Red is SL, Green is TP.
Never holding through VWAP, shorting into it or longing into it because no matter from where you approach it, there will always be trouble. Mostly acts as a harsh support/resistance

There always is a possibility for it to glide or violently break through VWAP but I don't like the odds

Also, big firms love to execute orders directly at the VWAP
