1. While trading derivative stocks it's OI data insight like OI Chain, outflow/inflows in Option/Future are important. Does the OI data insight get's captured by Price and volume metric of stocks?
2. If answer is 'All OI data insight of derivative get 100% captured in Price&volume of Stock', then tools based on Price Action, TA,...are sufficient. Is this conclusion correct?
3. If answer is 'All OI data insight of derivative get's partially captured in Price&volume of Stock', then apart from Price Action and TA based tools what indicators based on OI insight could be used?

hi, i like the 5 min on the NQ. i like to follow the trends whenever possible and trying to enter near bottoms or tops if lucky enough. experimenting with some reversal indicators and trendlines at the moment mixed with some ICT/SMC. im quite active and like to sit and look at the charts from bell to bell most days, but have not found my edge yet

Hang in there. Most traders fail and have period of drawdowns. Me included. It sounds like You need to find a way that makes your trades less emotional and more mechanical. Rules will do that for you. The simple ways are often not talked about, but you can get far with that

You may encounter some large swings with a 1H timeframe for that ticker, especially if you’re trying to day trade it. Support and resistance including choch would give you a good view though.

Your questions are valid, but the answer always depends. It’s not that easy. Here’s what I would do if I were you. 1) look at a higher timeframe than you trade. Determine if the price is moving down or up. 2) zoom in to your trading timeframe, take the trade in that direction. In this case above lots can happen on market open. I think we recover quickly then I can totally see a strong move testing the low, thats just how I probably will play Monday. So if you look at that you would take a short at the fvg. You can also take a buy at this point and close it at the fvg. Depending on your overall timeframe and bias you can also say that we are still in an uptrend if you look at 1d or 1week. Everyone has a bias, and that’s what you’re missing.

Yes. In my opinion, it sounds like you just want to take trades if you see a signal. That is not possible as if you zoom out, maybe people are selling and your fighting the trend

Try to use the replay function and then see if your trade works or not. Try to understand why if not

Most of us look at more than one factor. Support and resistance and smt is a good start, but it could also be complimented with the osc matrix or momentum trading

There’s plenty of examples and people here that trade in different ways that can help you find a good setup. There’s no wrong or right way. The most importantly is that

So sometimes that choch may work and the other time it won’t. Try to find ways to understand why and analyze the market, which will then help you make good predictions.

Might not be what you want to hear, but in reality that’s what all traders have to do.

You are at major support. Hence I think it’s a better trade when volume is incoming to take a long then adapt to what is happening at a higher price. This is all speculation. If war breaks out tomorrow, then yeah, this statement is completely invalid.

A general question regarding preceding or lagging nature of indicator. Amongst all the indicator in PAC, S&O and Osc, is it gauranteed that some of them are preceding while other are lagging. i.e. Signal and Money flow in S&O/Osc are preceding whereas BOS/TrendTracer are lagging.
OR, it is that depending on market condition same indicator can be preceding or lagging one?

Many members must be using these for long time, what does their experience say about the preceding or lagging nature of indicators in PAC, S&O, Osc.
