I agree, let's see what happens. I'm preparing for more of that volatility in 2025. I remember the last 4 years. It could simply be a tweet and not scheduled economic news statement (that are usually boring at best). Just weeks ago the USD/CAD went ballistic because of that. I was getting notifications on my server, and it turned out to be a tweet about tariff on Canada. That brought me an idea, how do I capitalize on those swings? I'm thinking maybe wait until the dust settles (read overreactions), then people realize that it was just words. At that point the market continues in the expected direction. It's sort of always the same, everyone runs in one direction for no reason, then someone asks why? and everyone slowly realize that maybe there should be a better reason than "everyone is going that way".
