timeframes, R:R, how long you want or dont want to hold trades for..... and then are you looking for breakouts or ranges or momentium trades etc etc
and once you know things like that.... then you can form a strategy and tools around that to help you

as there is a higher probability of that if you hit high liquidity areas with strong support / resistance of getting a move up or down
