Not to beat a dead horse that is Apex but I’m gonna kick them because today it shut my PA acct off, I was not near drawdown. Yesterday I ended $150 away from taking the payout, today take one $400 loser off the open and the trade is closed by Apex, no response to support and then tonight, sorry your acct was blown, there is no way it was blown I had lots of drawdown

On the flip side Topstep has been great, no issues and can get paid after five $200 days, not having to get back to profit target.

The other thing that I don’t get is I’ve been trading same strategy for probably 15 years, I left the floor a long time ago and took time to figure it out. I had no problem passing TopStep evals using it but with Apex it’s a constant fight, always have to grab profit because if it runs to $1,000 profit but then pulls back and I take $500, I get penalized $500, I have never understood that concept. I’m teaching my children so figured I’d try these prop firms out. Deck is stacked against you at Apex. On a side note Lux is a great tool, very versatile to help see things in the market.

by default, an investment is always long term, mate. and with something like GME, most likely at least 1 yr to make some money

if you look at daily charts, it's the type of stock that spikes up, so if you just did it for a quick profit out of greed and impatience, I recommend holding it and selling all at next spike up

I understand your logic, but would you think it would stop at OB or break through it and sweep and flush out the buy stops then head lower? Just food for thought 👀. Take my thoughts with a grain of salt tho.

That's also a possible scenario. Nq did get a nice initial bounce from today's OB before mitigating it into the close.
