Because these are someone else's rules on a demo account.
I can have demo paper account for free, not paying fees for that.
Ill can trade paper demo account and decide if i can be good (pass) or not good (dont pass), all for free.
Then when I am ready, ill trade real account, anytime I want, with my own strategy, with no outside rules to force me to change my strategy. If I allow someone else to dictate how and when I trade, there is a very low percentage that I would make it. Virtually impossible. Its hard enough to trade my own account with freedom, can you imagine how much harder it would be with someone telling me when and how to trade? no way for me, pass

I started trading with real brokers long before these prop firms started selling demo accounts.
And the real brokers will still be around when these prop firms are long gone.
