I just tried a 10 contract position (in practice environment) and got instantly liquidated with 100k loss So it feels like it's leveraged.

we had a first lower low then another lower low taking liquidity from all the market players that set stoplosses behind the first lower low, then we have a higher low. The entry was on teh 0.71 fib level framing this structure at the end of the downtrend. The orderblock formed with the higher low when market players actually went long OB =orderblock

If it triggers. So far the daily FVG is still intact. If it triggers & closes the FVG then I don't believe I will target the highs. If it triggers & doesn't close the FVG then yes. Or it could trigger & get stopped out, or not trigger at all.

I will be honest...I have a good win rate. I never have set stop loss or take profit. I trade Live. I sit in front of my PC and trade. 15M usually, sometimes 4H windows. But I always execute my own trades live. I am not sure how much an algo or bot would help me increase my profitability. I am trying out a few right now and they seem to generally just confirm the moves I already made or intend to make, sometimes just slightly sooner then I make them, sometimes I am first. Am I missing something ? Are these tools to help me take more positions and possibly at longer trades ? OR shorter trade windows and help me adjust for the volatility at those time windows ?

eg you can have $1000 moves in 1 minute, your daily loss on a 50k account is $1k

this depends on you, if you want to trade futures i'd start with a demo account first (even tradingview paper) to dip your toes in the water

But lets say you were trading a 4H window and the price moved maybe $1000 or more on a dip and then recovered in that window...will the prop liquidate you after the swing or let it ride into recovery ? I trade for myself now and dont panic about shit in those long of windows as long as I placed a good trade.

or if you do -1000 on multiple trades, you're out for the day.

I am in profit on my PnL...I make good trades. My issue is bank roll. Trading on an account under $5000 is not really profitable as the gains as so small even with decent leverage it seems.

Meaning your trades are sent out to a group on Tradovate to execute in their accounts?

You can only do that with a copier that is built for that. Tradovate isn't built for that kind of copying. Apex (I haven't used it) has a copier that can take a leader account used in Tradingview, copy those trades to other accounts. You have to use the copier with NinjaTrader. depends on you only if you want to do paper trading and mimic topstep's rules, etc.
I always went cold blooded when trying new things, real money or nothing. if i get rekt that will hurt and i'll learn from it. paper trading you can always reset, you have no emotions in trading that way.

again, this is subjective, i don't have the discipline and the patience to do paper trading first before learning something new, it's either a winner or a rekt one

I am the exact same way. I prefer to always have skin in the game. I have never paper traded, not even from Day 1. I just put money in after I felt I learned enough and lost money along the way, made some, refined my strats...now I feel I do well. But always the best way to learn the game is to pay to play.

I havent traded Micros before, but I trade BTC/USDT Futures and Perp Futures on MEXC now for myself. Seems to be the same far as I can tell save the difference in price movements. Never had any issues with those.

I tried trading on 5M and 1M and all that, Nah. I like 15M and 4H the best seems the market for BTC Futures moves at least in a pretty solid beat between those TF. You can usually get in and out with decent small profits consistently if you pay attention. Small profits for me on a personal account with less than $5,000 in capital. Which is why I want to go prop to pump my bankroll and in turn hopefully generate some more profits.

The same trade entry can be a winner for some traders, and a loser for others.
It's not the strategy.
