for instace suport resistence areas, if there is an fvg at those areas then you can use the s/r mindset and it will work 9999% better than without

It's not a day trading strategy. Nothing is perfect but if you are on the right side it works. If you are on the wrong side you roll out, narrow the stance, possibly invert the spread (throw the kitchen sink at it) & bail.

I’m also looking into futures. I’m based in Canada and my questions might be sillly. Do we have a recommended broker folks in this group use ? Also I have a TV premium but I guess that’s not enough I need to have a another trading platform like MT4/5 or Sierra my question here is : in terms of difficulty adapting to these platforms is it a steep learning curve ?

I'm currently with tradovate, trying to get funding through tradeday but that isn't a recommendation or financial advice. Nasdaq minis have been kicking my ass the last week and a half! If you're going personal capital tradovate has a lifetime $1500 option with tight spreads which I thought was the best for fees when I was searching. It has like an extra $10/mo charge each for tier 1 data feed and connecting to trading view though if you're rolling solo without the prop firm.
