Market is moving from stops to imbalances. This movement from stops to imbalances is what makes the phenomenon known as the market maker models. There are two market maker models, The Market Maker Buy Model (MMBM) and the Market Maker Sell Model (MMSM).

The main aspects to the market maker model are:
the original consolidation,
the smart money reversal,
the redistribution levels,
the reaccumulation levels,
the low risk buys,
and the low risk sells.

Basically the Maker Model is a very high probable "stage" to take trades from if you understand what the draw on liquidity is. The MMXM is nothing more than a more detailed way of understanding for what you already see in price action.

so if you do not find tehory related scenario when you look for them it does not mean theory is useless

Yes, and if you come across videos or forums saying ICT concepts doesnt work or it's a scam or ICT is pure hindsight, it's coz some people never actually put in the work to truly understand the concepts. So don't just skim through material, then take live trades and lose and judge it.

also, to dumb down the model, you must understand this: market maker = liquidity provider = the guys that allow us to trade 24/7 = multiply billions of trade with an average amount = imagine each time they provide liquidity they take the opposite trade with ours = they end up with millions of trades they need to realize a profit on = they HAVE to reverse the trend

to sum up = the models from above are a certainty, not just models

anything that goes up HAS TO go down

and viceversa

@aker I’m glad to see someone weighing in on liquidity providers - also important to understand they do not just trade “flat price”…majority of MM activity is a leg of a spread of some correlated or non correlated market, depending on their book. Also important to understand that options MM getting delta neutral represent a huge chunk of volume, so folks may want to understand what strikes are active, etc…

I usually like the 5min and 3min buy signals sell signals with the support resistance levels. I’ve been doing some testing and noticed that the 5min X trade exit signal works pretty good for exiting my trade. If there’s a decent move it will show up most times. The reversal zones are also good for confluence with support and resistance levels.

FYI the dashboard and the colors of the trend on the chart dont always have to be in confluence as each of these features monitor and track separate internals

So the key is, finding confluence in your analysis for a trade entry direction

in my honest and humble opinion, the lower the timeframe, the more signals in both directions you will have and this gets to be a little challenging if you are not on your toes. The 1m and 5m are GREAT for the traders that have tried, tested and optimized for their style. The higher the TF, the less signals you will have, and this may fit you better. All you can do is test and try for yourself on paper trade account

@upper zealot so once you pass a combine you still are trading a simlulated account. They call it an Express Funded Account. Essesntially this makes them have 0 risk against losing money but any profit you make you can keep. Once you have built up an actual balance in the express funded account they will move you to a Live Funded Account with balance. And essentially you can trade the live funded as much as you like till the balance reaches 0 or you break a rule again.
