i broke every single rule of my strat because i had strong bias and it played out exactly how i wanted it to. started at 50,5k went maximum down to 49,100 then back positive 3.6k
reason i played it like this because i saw the a move which signfied that Algos are 100% in the market

i'm not interested in or have the time to engage in a back & forth with a rando on a discord server, so i'm removing this strat. feel free to keep using it, revising it, coming up with your own version and even posting it, if you want. at that point, monk is gonna be your problem, not mine.
unfortunately, this experience has taught me to keep new ideas, insights, and strategies to myself, as posting something publicly puts a target on your back. as i learn stuff in the future, i'll be DMing it to trusted traders i've met around here who are interested in collaboration and rising the tide under everyone. that's what i'm interested in.

Because the way some indicators work is based on previous candles data. Futures is open 23hr a day. So by doing RTH (regular trading hours) yours missing the overnight information and only getting the market open sessions.

Most of them when signing up to be able to use Tradovate, its automaticly included. Although I dont recommend marketing in on Trading View as it can lag. You can use limit orders and that should be fine because it would already be place for quick entry once it hits.
If your going to have quick scalps I recommend going with the broker/platform for market orders.

Yeah I got burned a few times trying to use RH but eth seems to be the ticket. Coordinating the 2 is too confusing so Eth it is. For ES trading against SDS works beautifully as well. Thanks for the info

most of my concept work on FP and proved them to wrok pretty easily, if you know how to use them you can make easy money
but most people will fail with fp because they make them to ocomplicated
but I found early entries / exists without waiting for ChoCh / FVG and such
keep in mind that ICT is just a way to see all those stuff with price, pretty impossible but you can kinda do it, thats why ICT doesn't give perfect entries / exits but the concepts do give you good entries.. knowing to understand the traders, volume and price all together will make you way better than just price action especially when you only look at time based candles

I saw that Apex has 3$ commissions for round trip (open and close position) for NQ. I don’t know if it’s spread or fixed commissions applied post closing. If it’s fixed commission but they still place you 1-3 ticks (in way that would seem like a slippage) then it’s a scam
If it’s just spread and you get placed 3 ticks below for short or above for longs than it’s just fair spread
Still…3$ as commissions it’s huge…but they gotta make money to keep their business open

Reopened 3x prop accounts again, after a blow out. Getting close on a 4th. And 4-5 more than 1/2 way.
Finally put some cash back in an account for options. It's not much, but a start again. Let this settle, then split half into a separate broker. Try and get a couple thousand back in there and switch back to cash accounts.

Idk if it'll help anyone, but I primarily trade off price action and direction via TSI. I really like combination of lux indicators I have, more for verification after an entry, to hold longer. It also helps me evaluate levels/trends i might otherwise miss. But I'm trading at work, so usually all I have time for is scalping.
I added a free RTI indicator on TV as well, that has been a great addition when trading reversals. Specially on longer time frames/bigger moves. Still adjusting settings to best serve my use.
Here's the 15min chart today, and you can see the cross. Having confluence between more indicators, gives me more confidence in the trades. Just wish I had more time to monitor them, and see them through.

If you just started last week, everything is going to be confusing. Only thing I can recommend really is to ask questions, do not rely on just the buy/sell signals, continue learning in your own time by watching videos/reading. Ive been at this for about a year and still get confused. Theres a lot of info to absorb. You'll have wins and losses, probably mostly losses to begin with. Dont get discouraged, just learn from mistakes and keep moving forward.

Trading takes years. Going on 2 years and i'm still learning so much. My most important words of advice are dont revenge trade if you lose, and use the correct position size. Always set a stop loss and take profit level, and stop when it gets there. Don't keep moving it and giving it extra room, hoping it will turn around. Cut your losses when youre wrong.
