and set a loss limit, so for example 350$, if you lose 350$ you close the chart as well

the thing about reading footprint chart is that if you want to use the foorprint within the next one / two candles after, the numbers do not mean much to you

it probably lets you setup the colors for the important stuff

so for example, I use POI and TOC in the footprint, seeing the number doesn't mean much to me but seeing the price only does

without seeing the numbers I saw that at the top in got rejected at a resistance and the next one broke a support which gave a beautiful trade using my strat (I didn't take)

keep in mind that this one doesn't show imbalances even though I know it is useful

the thing that I find about NQ though, imbalances aren't much helpful bigger candles (1m+) so it isn't much helpful to trade manually

you will get stacked imbalances here and there for good zones but tbh they aren't worth waiting for, the POI / TOC will give you the zone when they are needed anyways and more accurate

always saw it but never gave it much thought till today, the main problem is that it usually to see session total delta but in futures the session ins 23 hours so isn't useful

I recently placed the bottom indicator (in the screenshot) that shows cumulative delta over the last 5 candles (will adjust it slowly) but it is nice

so for example the same trade that I showed before is very interesting.
We have the blue lines that are S&R, when it goes to the support you can see the volume going down (line in the lower indicator), at the same time we are seeing that sellers are in control.
We then go the support and volume picks up (showing more liquidity the higher we go but less the lower we go).
We then see the candle wicks above the R but closing at R with TOC above it, showing liquidity grab.
Price goes down and volume keeps on rising, POI + TOC going down.

the only problem is that I would've closed it when looking at the 15S, regardless, the move was beautiful after the break

@ancient marsh the HA candles, are simply for understanding the trend and where we're headed, the value line with the candles together, allow us to see the trend in a more contextually satisfying way. Once you have your idea about where it's going, you jump to lower time frames and regular candles to find an entry.

I paid for this indicator, but you can create it yourself very easily. You just look for a lower high and a higher low. Draw out a line from there. The line is only valid once the price goes above and below it at least once.

well look, It's almost 1am, but ping me tomorrow and I'll show you some examples. It's really helped me a lot. Plus, the line is like a magnet, so once the HA candle starts pointing in the direction of the line, I have a really great bias, and I can start creating targets based on liquidity.

a few tips for who ever uses footprint (especially the one I sent):

1. "weak" price, using weak price to find a price of interest, when using POI (Point Of Interest) we can sometimes see 2 candles in a row with the same POI if no candle touched / broke it after a few candles it is a good price to look out for.. they don't call it POI for nothing.

2. POT TOC cross, when we have a small / big trend (3+ candles with to the same direction and POI is moving in the same direction) and we get a TOC , TOI cross and a reversed candle.. a reversal will happen can be small one as well.

3. TOC on "weak" price, when we get a TOC hitting the price from suggestion 1, we can expect price to start moving again.

And again always use confluence.

ya if you're trusty on your trigger finger to do the right thing when its going with or against you its pretty neat but as stated above it doesnt really allow you to turn ATM on when you start running groups

"Live Rounds" is the group, so when a trade gets taken on one it splits it into both accounts

with that said though, my preference is to run Ninja for copy's. The replicator software is way more intuitive, i can adjust the size the follow accounts will take, and even have them run micros instead of mini's if its a new account that im just trying to pad up.
