yep, my main issue rn is that the RR is 1:1 so either I increase my WR or increase my RR.. I mean 60% is really nice since it's 20% clean profit but still when I manually backtested it was at 70% which is 40% clean profit

when it does on average 60 trades a day, those small percentages make big differences

What i mean with the PAC is the following (Example is from ES)
Point 1 would be an entry for the Quant Strat ... but you can see that there is at Point 2 there is an Order Block which as more power on Sell as on Buy... so i don´t took this trade.
I try to find some trades outside the regular trading because 9:30 am ET is for me 3:30 pm 🙂 So i have some time in the morning.
What i want to say is that i doge a loss trade with the PAC... this is of course not a 100% strat but i dogded yesterday 3 losses with it 🙂

If the Order Block support my direction i go in at Quant Strat entry ... if there is no Order Block nearly the entry i also go in 🙂

Point 1 is a great Entry Above is a Order Block which already reached and show me more Sell orders than Buy Orders.
Than the entry comes and it would be a win trade TP 60 reached.

If you have position from 4132-4127 level or 4141 level, I would highly recommend to scale out around 4153 level. It could be volatile. Just my suggestion, you can decided to hold, up to you. If it holds 4153 level, we will see my upside labelled. Good luck @everyone, and trade safe

There are no purple candles in PAC coloring... If you want them, you need to use Signals and Overlays coloring

2. 5 min
3. No presets
4. Smart Trail ON
5. Trend Catcher ON
6. Sensitivity: Short term
7. Bullish exit and Bearish exit unchecked in Styles tab.

Tried setting up custom Alerts for both Short and Long with the following:
Long:
Buy signal
Smart trail UP
Trend catcher UP

Bear: Reverse of the above alert

The alerts combinations are not firing at all both on Long and Short. Is this is the correct way of identifying potential longs and shorts entries? Any idea why the alerts aren’t firing at all?

Good stuff. Understanding foot print adds more confluence to the trade. We can see where the orders get absorbed by sellers/buyer. You can see this inside the candle. Volume profile is another powerful tool to use. Always learn new thing.

Small thread on some interesting things, it is still in research but if you are interested you can try and look at it live today to see if it works for you (I will send the possible trades for the day if I catch them, it would be my first day of looking at this strat live).

The needed charts (all RTH):

1. Quant OG strat on 15 seconds.
2. NQ 1 minute with the footprint I sent and enable POI and TOC lines (tick all first check marks)
3. $TICK chart with lines at: 1400, 1000, 800, 600, 0, -600, -800, -1000, -1400

Explanation:

1. Will show us the momentum on the small timeframe to use for possible exits / entries.
2. Will be the actual entry signal while using the 2 others as confluence.
3. This chart shows how many stocks ticked up / down in NYSE, if its negative it means more ticked down, if its positive it means more ticked up. the lines show over bought / sold with strengths.

Yesterday open:

1. Opened on a up gap, turning candles to green and giving strong buy.
2. nothing yet.
3. opened above 1400, meaning we are supposed to see a down move (like over over sold).

4:45 minutes after open:

1. ADX started going down after RSI has been going down for a bit.
2. at 8 minutes after we see it break POI support.
3. at 8 minutes after open still hasn't broke the 0 line so we may keep going down.
   SHORT ENTRY, SL and previous candle POI (70 ticks)

13 minutes after open:

1. RSI starts going up after being in over-sold.
2. BIG down wick and closing flat candle.
3. Went above 0 line,

CLOSE short with 230 ticks profit.

This is a bit long I will sent all screen shots soon but we got another trade at 15 minutes after open closing 36 minutes after open with another 280 ticks profit.

Thats 510 ticks on NQ in the first 40 minutes of the market.

Keep in mind that its fast trades so its a bit harder to trade and yesterday was a volatile day so dont expect these results every day
