rotate screen termux

is there any way using termux api to make it rotate the screen? what about mapping stuff like (press volume down twice) to trigger such action if it is even possible?
so manual rotate with double pressing volume down.

i know there are third party apps for this but only termux survives in background to make this thing usable,others die.
edit:and without root as i dont have root access

if you want to have something like that, that's probably impossible

rotating screen through termux-api will only affect termux-api app, but not the Termux itself

also what's so bad about rotating your phone 90°?

i hate auto rotate.

made lot of mistakes like calling because the phone autorotated.

would much prefer a manual way of rotating.

there's should be a button to change the phone screen to landscape mode, but it depends on the OS you're using

OneUI 3.1 has one, but it sometimes only appear on certain apps
