what pickaxe is best for collectibles?

i thought it was netherite but it seems like i am getting more emeralds instead of collectibles.

That's not how it works

a wooden pickaxe and a netherite pickaxe have the same chances of getting a collectible

because whether you get a collectible or not is decided before whether u get emeralds or not

but a netherite has a better chance of getting emeralds witch lowers the chance of getting coletables

i did so testing and found that the lower picks have a better chance of trash and the higher picks have a better chance of emeralds so they equal out.
