any reason why the minimap doesnt display entities like it does in mce1? i have it enabled but still doesnt show anything.

xaero's minimap and full map have two different entity radars; you may need to configure both to see it?

Can always file a github report about it, but if that doesn't work, I'm out of ideas. Can always swap out your map mod.

In the entity radar settings you have to make sure each option is turned on, especially the living section
