#More channels for PvZ1 (or B&D if if you live in 2008)

PvZ1 talks simply aren’t big enough to warrant its own channel. iirc there used to be a thread for it in #pvz1-pvz2, but was closed due to inactivity.

There’s #pvz-mods-discussion for that?

Two channels already fulfill the two things you would like from a “PvZ1” channel, and yet again, PvZ1 is (by default) talked less than the other two TD games.

#

A PvZ1 channel of any kind is not happening, and this has been talked about several times in the past.

Past experiment with this idea only showed that it’s redundant.

M.A. is also the core hub of PVZ1 in the community for anyone serious about discussing the game
We’ve had channels in the past for other niches that some servers fill, such as a PVZ shooter modding channel, but these all died out quickly
PVZ1 is a very popular game, always will be, so naturally it’d at least have some activity? But it wouldn’t be enough to justify the separation, bear in mind how little the game is discussed in the TD category as is

While we could do that, we really just don’t feel as if it’s necessary
PVZ1 is a game that this server really doesn’t discuss nearly as often as PVZ2 and the spin-offs, and that wouldn’t change much with its own dedicated channel
This conversation reminds me of one we had about a month ago about splitting the PVZ1 and PVZ2 ping roles, and the verdict there was very similar: PVZ1 simply doesn’t have much going on, so giving it a separate channel feels like nothing more than a move to create channel filler

@surreal yoke @inner hatch @worthy moth this thread exists because the dude who made it is banned from both of the other pvz1 servers that he mentioned

Well then, I don’t see any reason to keep the discussion going at this point, use #pvz1-pvz2 for your PVZ1 discussions 😭
