going into a game mode and coming back out has me select a controller layout every time. I don't use either layout and it doesn't reset the layout, but the pop up keeps appearing.

Using my mouse to navigate the menu seems to not trigger it

Could you send us a zip of your localapp data for Rivals? We're trying to track down this bug with the control schemes popping up and need additional info.

You can get to that folder like this:

  1. Press "Windows" + "R" key to open the run dialogue
  2. Paste this %localappdata%/rivals2/saved/SaveGames and hit OK
  3. Right click > compress to... > zip the SaveGames folder and then send that over if you can please

This is happening to me too but my steam deck ecosystem is really seperate from everything else so I cant really send the info
