#During a match the fps goes from 120 to what it feels like 30

Sometimes when I enter a match, either casual or ranked, my fps drops significantly.

This issue goes away after one or two minutes in the match, but the fps drop may happen at every match.

This is a new issue, as it didn't happen a week ago.

I have a 4090 and 13700k and set everything to max, 120 fps, nothing changed since I started playing in October, so I hope it's not a performance issue...

You might want to check out the thread about the 566.36 driver and disabling the game photo/filter function, if you haven't already.

I have an older driver 560.96, but deactivating the nvidia overlay helped me, thanks, problem solved

Note that this is a widely reported issue with the Nvidia overlay reducing FPS in Unreal Engine 5 games. Found a lot of chatter about it on Reddit too.

Nvidia drivers have always been the cause of this for me. Try rolling back to an older driver.

There's also the Nvidia overlay, and also the new screen record feature they added. Turn that off.

I'm not as knowledgeable regarding specs and configs, but is there such an option or alternative for AMD drivers too?
